Had a look earlier a pictures of both, it is possible that the controls on the Bosch machine will be just above the height of the freezer. One problem I hadn’t thought of until looking at them is the filter access appears to low down at the front, that would mean moving the freezer to clean it out. The only other alternative is a new kitchen. 😥

tonyclifton wrote:cheers iadom i was referin to hpt wm timers got a few were first track has blown tried to hard wire a couple but nothin at top to solder to as took it all out when it blew
thats why I remove the wire completely from the plug, it nearly always damages the first contact in the plug.

WHat make/models are you referring to Tony. I always repair the tracks on Hotpoint WM timers blown by interlocks with a 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} success rate. It is normally just the first edge connection that goes, I cut the wire out of the plug and solder a short piece of wire to the nearest component leg on the damaged track then butt connect to the original wire. I have used this method on both the hybrid timer and the earlier Timer/module WM series with tracks damaged by motor brushes shorting out.

ModeratorRe: An Age Thing.
Even better than the bloke who sent me £20.00 for advice on the phone, yesterday a female customer said “do you mind if I ask how old you are” I obviously said “how old do you think” , when she said 45, I was almost tempted to cancel my invoice. 😀
58 next Wednesday and almost 38 years on my knees peering into white goods, but still manage to play 3 games of squash a week. 8)
PS, which other thread Bob,

ModeratorRe: A Radical Thought
As a relative newcomer to the site, although I lurked for a long time just to get the lie of the land, I quickly decided that I would like to become a subscriber. I admit that ATM I cannot think of a specific use for the funds ( I could use a holiday though 😉 ) I am in agreement with Alex on this. I have done a rough comparison of my income in the past six months and my weekly take has increased by just over £100 per week, or around £3000. Not big money but a nice increase for a one man operation. It may be coincidence but I somehow think that it is in no small way due to the help I have received here. I realise that being a subscriber would not have made a major difference but I have to say that I am a person who does not always ‘expect something back’ and so I am very happy to subscribe, the next bright idea may be just around the corner.

ModeratorRe: Bosch WFF2001GB/01 Heavy duty doorseal
Martin, where is that on Partfinder, does it include WMA models. I have a customer who would gladly pay £42 for a door seal , I have fitted four to the same machine this year, teenage daughter with serious skin problems.
