    Re: Hoover AL150

    Didn’t want to start another thread so will stick it here.

    Another AL150 problem. Symptoms, machine completely dead,

    Have live feed to door lock but no neutral return, tried new lock just in case but no joy.

    On/Off switch & pressure switch fine. Neutral link from door lock to bottom of module is ok and I have a neutral feed from top of module.

    Have sent module to EMW for test.

    Anyone else seen this fault.

    Re: Hotpoint DWF40P only beeping

    Error codes for this machine are in this forum’s Error codes list, on page #2 posted by lotusray.

    dishwasher fault codes with bit 100 timer(written on serial no)
    led1=overflow water in base
    led2=inlet valve
    led3=thermister
    led4=timeout heating
    1+2timeout draining
    2+3timeout filling
    1+3filters blocked
    1+4software error
    2+4heater
    3+4timer hardware

    Reset is achieved by turning the selector to ( you’ve guessed it ) RESET, switching on then waiting a few seconds. All the lights should go out if there is no fault.

    Thanks for the info, actually the WMA bearings look to be the exact same size, pity the seal is different.
    Just checked and the WMA bearings are the same size. 🙂

    Still waiting for the bearing kit for this.

    Anyone know of an alternative to Qualtex’s BKT 80. Do Zanussi do a complete kit or do I need to order separate bearings and seal.
    Customer giving me some earache now. 😥

    Are you sure about that model No: could it be a 37662 ?? This model has two capacitors.
    Cancel that, I was looking at a Creda. The Crusader 37667 does have the small reversing timer in the base. Never had one fail though.
    Timer No: 1701133 list £26.88 + vat.

    Re: Ariston Oven Shuts Down

    This model has a safety thermostat at the back which is more than likely cutting out. Would suggest that you get the cooker checked out ASAP. How long has it been installed, it may not have sufficient space to allow for cooling around the unit, or the ‘tangental’ cooling fan may have failed.

    you could try here

    Takes all of two minutes with the plastic bag tie technique. 🙂

    That part is officially obsolete. It is not the type of part that someone is likely to have hanging around either, but you never know. 😥

    Tell them to avoid washing trainers etc at all costs, also try not to underload with heavy items.

    NB. Do not give any long g/tee on these lifters, they will come adrift again.

    Re: Hotpoint drum lifters

    Version 1 should be fitted together with a small rokut rivet.

    You need Version 1 Lifter Fitting Tool Kit. part No:5600224.
    This includes a drill, fitting tool and 10 rokut rivets plus fitting instructions.

    The bad news is that it is b****y useless, they will still come out in no time at all. 😥
