    Although changing the motor without first testing it electrically is the height of folly. :rolls:
    Not common but the control timer can cause this fault, something else that can be tested with the correct equipment.
    Not sure how much you paid for the motor but the timer is listed at around £75, not something I would be putting in a 20 year old dryer. 🙁

    If it fails again then you really need to find out where the leak is coming from.

    If that is the 1st and 3rd light counting up from the bottom then you have error code F05 which means pressure switch stuck on full or machine is not emptying.

    If status type pressure switch check correct operation of
    component;
    – Check efficiency of contacts of connector J006 (commutator motor) or J7
    (three phase motor) on PCB;
    – Check wiring of connectors J006 (Commutator motor) or J7 (three phase motor)
    / Pressure switch;
    – Check continuity of pump on connectors J004 (commutator) or J11
    (three-phase), pins 4 and 5 (in case of classic door lock);
    – Check wiring of connectors J004 (commutator) or J11 (threephase),
    pins 4 and 5 / pump;
    – Check pump filter + and wall drain outlet;
    – Renew drain pump;

    – Renew linear pressure switch;
    – Renew PCB.

    So you have checked the pump filter then?

    Also need to double check on exactly which lights are flashing and which are on steady.

    Just a thought, this model can have either a 3 phase motor (NO BRUSHES) or a standard brush gear motor. We would need the full model number including any suffix, the serial number and the commercial code from the rating plate to identify.

    Would also suggest it may be a little older than you think.;)

    Not a chance of service manuals we in the independent trade cannot get them either :(, I can tell you however that they are in the motor. 😉

    Motor is easily accessible for removal by removing the back panel after you have unplugged of course.

    Is the small, white plastic door switch operating peg intact?
    It sits inside the door, top dead centre.

    Re: Hotpoint SDD910 F13 intermittent main board fault

    The lack of any replies may be due to the relatively young age of this machine. The error code does relate to a main pcb malfunction and sadly Indesit electronics are some of the least reliable in the current market.

    New boards need to be programmed before fitting, cost around the £80 mark. There are at least two different boards and three different smartcard/software options.

    Full model number, serial number and commercial code needed to ID parts.

    Has the machine been heavily used, if so then the motor brushes would be the first thing to check.

    Are you certain that ALL the lights are flashing, error codes on this machine flash all of the top row but keep a combination of the right hand vertical lights on steady, those lights are the error code.

    AFAIK it has been binned as it was causing speed problems with the site. The new layout is now very mobile/tablet friendly.
