Are any of the indicator lights flashing, the first four lights are used to show an error code.

    The only sensible solution TBH.

Re: Extra long drain and inlet pipe

There are no hoses of that length and although the fill hose of that length will not be a problem the machine is not designed to pump water out over that distance, even a decent quality machine would not work correctly and a budget, possibly Chinese made one will certainly struggle.

I don’t have a Qualtex account, perhaps someone who does could find out if it is still available?

If you Google for ELE489 you get a couple of hits, asking silly money, £35/£45. :rolls:

Re: Old Hotpoint 6121 left side oven element.

Are you sure about that model number?

According to Partfinder the 6121 is a fan oven with a typical round element at the back and a large, hidden base element.

That type of element is listed as an ELE489 at Qualtex, no idea if it is still available though.

    Jim.

EDIT: Just checked on the Element Man website and they don’t appear to stock them. 🙁

The cheapest option would be to send it to EMW.

    Re: Hotpoint WMD962 F:05 error

F05 is usually a blocked pump or drain time out error.

The pressure switch, along with almost every other part of this Indesit machine has ‘issues’. 🙁

Pressure switch is cheap enough to risk trying it.

    Re: Zanussi dryer cutting out.???

Thanks Seamy, machine is in a garage and AFAIK they don’t stop it mid cycle.

Any reason why the diagnostics wouldn’t run correctly, it just flashes red/green continuously without a pause???

    Jim.

‘Supposed’ to be a setup error/eeprom error.

You will need to have the main pcb reprogrammed. 🙁

Doubt you will want to change the main pcb TBH,
