Re: Indesit Oven Hinge Replacement needed

Impossible without exact model number to be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain but it is a Hotpoint/Creda made cooker so THIS will be the most likely one.

PS. I removed your images as they were far to large and went way off screen even on my widescreen PC. 😉

    Re: Hotpoint seal

If you mean the large spring that fell out when you removed the old bearings and seal then that should all be thrown away, the new seal has its own spring inside it. That’s assuming you are talking about the bearing seal and not the door seal.

Rear bearing failure very common, remove the grey plastic cover on the rear and if a lot of black dust falls out the the rear bearing and possibly the drum shaft may need changing.
Other known weak point is the black plastic jockey pulley , visible by removing right hand (from front) side panel.

AFAIK Asko was owned by Antonio Merloni who had nothing whatsoever to do with Indesit.

Sounds to me like you are trying to remove the main circulation pump and not the much smaller drain pump which is a twist fit. Follow the grey plastic outlet pipe into the machine to find the drain pump. 😉

That is not a error code but if you already have the capacitor why don’t you just have a look at the one on the board and if it looks domed change it, you have nothing to lose and it is a very common fault.

Never really had a problem, they are a bit of a fiddle but you need to find a way that suits you.

One way is to feed the belt round the drum with the drum at one side then push the drum back into the chassis.

    Another method HERE

I have in the past used the old belt slipped under the new one to drag it over the pulley or even levered it over with a flat bladed screw driver.

Taking the fan housing cover off and removing the front fan also helps with access.

Also worth noting that the amount of calls we get where the customer insists that “it doesn’t spin like it used to” nearly always increase in the winter months.

I have been to three machines this week with the same complaint and every one of them was working perfectly. The only difference was the fact that in winter the clothes are being rinsed in water that is not much above freezing, the clothes were no wetter, just very, very cold. 😉

The pcb will not damage a pressure switch.

Several different models of the 7145, full model number, serial number and commercial code required TBH.

You could check the motor carbon brushes if it has a brush gear motor.

Drain pump is accessed by removing the base plate. Remove mains plug, get as much water out of it as you possibly can and carefully lie on its back to get at the base plate.
