Fault code F01 = motor triac short circuit. could be motor, wiring connections or main pcb. 🙁

Ta, just wanted confirmation, lots of machines do this, especially washer dryers but unless you know exactly which ones it can be a nuisance.

Blocked filters, could be blockage, pressure switch,faulty main circulation pump.

The old saying ” you cannot get blood out of a stone” is apposite here. How many double glazing firms offer 10, 15, 20, or even 25 year warranties only to go out of business a few years later?

That would be light 1 then?
Error code F01. Motor triac short circuit. If all wiring and motor is ok then the main pcb is faulty. Indesit electronics are some of the flakiest on the market sadly. 🙁

Moved to correct forum.
First things first, five years is extremely good for this 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} Indesit machine. :rolls:
Secondly, what is the exact error code that is showing, ignore all the flashing lights and tell us which of the right hand, vertical lights are on steady by number, counting from bottom up.

Also a good chance that it is the inverter pcb that is at fault. 🙁
I think I have had one motor to five boards causing F08.
Also a pig to change, I do it without removing the drum as per the manual>

Don’t think the connector block is available as a spare part. Usually cut off as close as possible and replace with seperate, insulated AMP tags. The chances are that if repaired they will soon burn out again and replacing the heater assy is the only certain cure……..Until the pcb fails that is. :rolls:
As for the clips i dont try to refit them, lifes too short to faff around with such poor clips. I replace them with thin jubilee clips of the same size.
