Error codes are given by flashing the four function light buttons. If all four of the right hand vertical buttons are flashing then the fault is F15, heater relay contacts welded. In other words the main PCB is goosed. 🙁

I assume you have replaced the motor brushes? it can take several attempts to clear but I have never failed to get rid of it eventually.

Think you made need a complete dispenser but without full serial number and commercial code its impossible to tell.

Its slotted into the side of the dryer heater box which itself sits on top of the drum. Think you have to remove the heater box complete and split it to change ntc.

I have always thought that trade member sce was a sandwich short of a picnic, Martin has just sent me a link to his web site. :eeek:

It is a horrible mess TBH and I initially gave up reading it after ten seconds. I then took a deep breath and read on. he has always had a bee in his bonnet about buying cheap tat and he has some ‘interesting’ observations on UKWG’s motives and opinions. :rolls:

    Then it doesn’t have one.

Look at the attached picture, that shows both of the hoses that go to the dryer side but some models only have one and no filter. The filter if fitted is part 374 in that picture.

Re: Indesit Plastic Drum Pulley part no.

Partfinder only shows what appears to be the metal pulley and a very small, smudged diagram of the earlier split drum that is virtually useless.

The plastic pulley for the Hotpoint and other Indesit models is C007270717. :con:

Re: How long is the guarantee

You did buy a genuine part, there are no pattern spares of complete drums AFAIK. Sadly the bottom line is that it is a 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} Indesit machine, not the best by a very long chalk. 🙁

Re: How long is the guarantee

As far as I am aware ,if you had had the part fitted by a qualified, Indesit Company engineer the repair is guaranteed for 14 days.

if we buy parts trade we usually get 3 months on some parts but none at all on others such as circuit boards and it is a nightmare trying to get credit for them..

The part is well out of any warranty TBH.

Not sure if you have already had a read of THIS

It was written in 2011 but most of what is said there still holds true today, including their dishwashers. They are cheap, poorly constructed Chinese appliances. The lack of any real response to your questions reflect that. A large part of the independent trade, myself included will not touch them TBH.

Re: ariston a1400swd fill valve hoses ?

    ??????

This machine has a single, hot valve with just one hose to the dispenser and either a 3 or 4 way cold valve. The hoses from the cold valve go to the dispenser (two hoses), rear of drum and lint filter if fitted hence the 3 or 4 way valve.
Sounds like it has been ‘doctored’:rolls:
