Re: HOTPOINT WT741 – DOOR ERROR FOLLOWING CAPACITOR REPLACEM

Assuming it has a brush gear motor, some WT741’s are 3 phase. 😉

Bad connections, connectors refitted to pcb incorrectly. :con:

    Re: Football Season 2014/2015

They are still at least three players short, a central defender with power and experience, cover at right and left wing backs.

I watched most of last nights game on MUTV and quite a bit of the other pre season games.

TBHL Liverpool could have been 3-0 up before United scored in that cup final in the USA.

They are no doubt playing to instructions but there are sometimes that you just have to lump it when playing at the back. Even Vidic and Ferdinand knew that.
ATM every single player including DeGea is attempting to play the ball along the ground to a team mate. A very good idea in theory but Swansea soon found out that it doesn’t always pay to do that.

The new system will take time but Herrera looks class and one or two of the younger players such as Blackett look decent. Shaw, Valencia, Welbeck all out with slight injuries and RVP not fully match fit.

It’s lucky that we have, on paper a very easy start to the season ( no disrespect to Burnley ) which should give the players more time to adopt to the new playing methods.

    Jim.

    Or look HERE . 😉

PS. It is as stated above BHWD not a BWHD, but you ignore the flashing lights along the bottom, not the top.

The magnets also came loose on the GDA motors, much easier to sort. 🙂

Re: Hotpoint WF250 1500Spin,Lock LED flashes, before Final S

You programme a £100 pcb buy first purchasing a £20 smart card and a £100+ card reader .

Or you could send it to EMW for testing and possible repair.

If you have suitable test equipment it should be possible yo test the motor but as I have already said, one brush worn far more than the other is a sign of a failing motor.

One brush badly worn with the other say half worn is a sure sign of a faulty motor sadly. 🙁

A strong possibility of pcb damage. 😥

Or you could try it on one of the heavy soil settings and monitor it to see if it fills, washes then drains, refills and then does a full wash programme. Auto prewash cycles are usually only included in the hottest wash setting.

It does not appear to have a separate prewash cycle.

At the same time put some powder detergent in both drawers, if it has a prewash it should take the powder from the small drawer and then take the powder from the main drawer later.

I have had a close look at the user manual and as you say it is not mentioned. Unfortunately I don’t have access to the service manual for that model which does ‘sometimes’ show a full sequence chart.

If it was faulty at time of purchase then how did it work perfectly for 16/17 months?

OP makes no mention of water anywhere and cracks in the drum are caused by metal objects such as coins, keys, nails etc left in pockets 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time.

What type of motor is fitted. The tacho magnet on the FHP motors can and does come loose but it is not easy to see unless you look very closely.

I have managed to re secure them using loctite in the past, often without having to remove that silly metal disc that holds the tacho in place with reasonable success.

If the brushes have never been changed then they are long overdue for replacement.

Easy enough to check them but the usually stop the motor altogether.

Could still be a faulty door lock or even the pcb.
