Not sure about other stats but surely if the clothes are ‘allegedly’ very hot at the end of a cycle then whatever controls the cool down period is at fault, not the stats?

Take no notice, that would only apply to a good capacitor on a machine that was still plugged in.

I was going to post this in Daves small thread titled Adverts but for some reason that page appears to be dead, none of the links or buttons seem to work and you can’t enter text in the reply box??
Reason for posting is an advert that I found extremely annoying. I was replying to a PM and couldn’t find the Post Reply button until I discovered it hidden under a bloody advert for an Asian dating site across the bottom. You have to click on the small down arrow above the add to reveal the post reply button.

Got your PM . There are four fairly large files so I have sent you links to all four on my Google Drive. Let me know if you are able to download from there.

It’s obvious your brother worked on commercial machines. If he had seen as many domestic appliances including dishwashers as we have he would realise the word ‘indestructible’ is a million miles from the truth.:(

F08 can be pressure switch related . It’s likely to have a sealed outer drum so not possible to get into the lower pressure chamber to clean effectively.:(

Done a little more digging, this machine does have a capacitor start motor, located behind the right hand ( from front ) side panel, screws down the back and one sneaky one up at the top/front. It’s a bog standard 8uf capacitor available in the forum shop here. https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/washing-machine-tumble-dryer-dishwasher-8uf-capacitor

Are you sure it is a WF530 and not a WF560? Regardless the name of the left hand vertical flashing light is immaterial. If it is the top light then it is F08. A notoriously difficult fault to eliminate and truth to tell not really worth it on an old machine like this one is. A new pcb would need to be programmed with smart card and card reader. Taking a chance on anything from eBay could mean a 160 mile wasted journey. For a £100 on top of what you may have to lay out without any certainty of fixing the machine you could buy something like a basic BEKO which would be perfectly fine for a single person. The Hotpoint machine is just a rebadged cheapo Indesit when all is said and done.
