Re: 4uf Capacitor (UKW SKU 3068006) connecting

Just put one wire on either side, if you look at the capacitor terminals horizontally then one set of terminals will be on the left, the other on the right, a single wire on either side is correct.

    Ignore the horizontal lights.

Error codes on these are given using the BOTTOM five vertical lights including the door lock, counting from BOTTOM to TOP, so door lock is light 1.

    Fault codes are HERE

Displayed in the horizontal to save space, read from right to left as 1 to 5.

If you can find a capacitor of the correct value then it is well worthwhile giving it a try.

Description does sound like a seized main motor, in theory it could be the capacitor but from experience the motor is the main culprit. At around ยฃ115 it would not be a viable repair on what is essentially an Indesit dishwasher.

A 3 phase motor of any kind makes very little noise as there is no brush gear.
Itโ€™s not rocket science, just better quality motor bearings and a motor mounted inside a more robust cabinet with a well damped drum suspension.

Even the much cheaper machines with 3 phase motors make very little noise when washing TBH.

Model number is 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} legit and yet it is not recognised by Hotpoints own ‘find your manual’ page.:(

You could try this method for earlier models.

switch the wall socket on but do NOT switch the washer on. hold the: reduced creases, mini load and time saver buttons under the main screen at the same time for about five seconds till you hear a beep. by pressing the two buttons above the play/pause button flick through the languages till you get the one you want. press the child lock button to select the desired language. switch the wall socket off and then back on. switch the washing machine ON

Have you removed and checked or cleaned the pump filter?

E06 relates to poor/non draining issues. Is your outlet hose connected to the undersink plumbing?
A blockage or obstruction in this hose can also cause this problem.

That’s the model range, full model number should be on front, begins with a W.

    Have you tried HERE ๐Ÿ˜‰
