Re: CCJ, where do I go now?

But using them when you already have a CCJ order would be illegal.

Using such a company, before obtaining a CCJ would work but paying them to do what you can easily and legally do yourself seems a little stupid to me, but if you want to pay more for debt recovery that’s a personal choice.

No one can force them to pay up except the Courts, demanding money with menaces is a Criminal Offence still today.

Wiring in the motor block is suspect on these and can give the E1 error otherwise sounds like the PCB goosed.

Assuming you have a technically correct judgement which hasn’t been satisfied in full, and the defendant is still trading then yes, the warrant is the way to go.

However, without seeing the CCJ and confirming the ID of the defendant then I cannot confirm this.

He also owned Del Monte the tinned fruit company and source of the current inner drums for Vestel made units

E4 is water detected in base.

As the machine has been tipped upside down I would check the operation of the safety float switch to make sure it’s sited correctly. If its out of position the machine thinks its flooded when it isn’t.

    Don hi

It becomes a copyright infringement ONLY if he doesnt have permission from Connect to use and distribute it.

Knowing Connect I seriously doubt they have given him permission, so they might well have a beef about it including with us if it persists on being available.

Whom wants to get into a peeing contest with Connect over it? To my mind, the photo is no different to a wiring diagram and we wouldn’t allow that to be broadcast would we.

IMHO I would delete it Don and argue from a safe point of view if necessary.

    Re: ISE5-2

So very very few people knew of this position regarding Vestel then.

Interesting given a certain WP’s intimate knowledge of that manufacturer and their dislike of this site.

I am even more convinced this is a deliberate attempt to cause trouble now.

    K

Review his posts from 2007, 5 years ago, he was slagging ISE and Beko back then.

I gotta ask, if back in 2007 ISE were so bad, why did he buy himself one two years ago, and given he claims to be trade he doesnt seem to know much about it to be honest.

This smells of a troll or set up.

Or positively reinforces the need to pre register.

Some always chance their arm no matter what the situation, it’s just their way but a bit of encouragement in the right direction never harmed anyone.

I never said those you want to accept as a late booking on arrival at the meeting couldnt be registered at that point and admitted in the normal manner and those you don’t want admitted are refused as they don’t have a ticket.

I was merely trying to provide a reasonable but diplomatic solution to a potential issue.

Yes I understand it’s a drum out job, not sure if it is model specific but I understand one part of the paddle is screwed in and you can only access the screw once you have split the tubs.

    Re: Seven Days A Week

Actually in England & Wales it is rather simple to do. :eeek:

First you need to look at what the existing statement of employment says to see if you can enforce it. If there is no restriction on the working days then you can simply make the change and enforce it.

If there is a restriction on what are considered working days then you can only change it as K says with the express agreement of the staff involved.

However, if the staff involved refuse to play ball, then you are legally entitled to serve them notice of dismissal and terminate their employment after the required notice period has been worked.

You then simply hire new (the old staff) staff on a new set of Statements of Employment, having learnt your lesson on Statements of Employment, which get you round the problem.

Now before you all start on me, that is a very basic simplistic view of it but it is possible to do it, it just takes time and you risk upsetting some of your most valuable assets, but make no mistake about it, it can be done.

The problem we have on this site is many of you guys are small single/two man operations whom work in the cash market so you have the freedom to pick and choose if you want to offer this as a service to your customers or not.

If you are a service agency for a manufacturer of WP with several employed engineers and are reliant on that work/income, then you will find it so much more difficult to say no, when your whole business is at risk.

What I am saying is many posters on here can say no to Sunday work if it suits them, however, many will not be so fortunate and will be forced down the route of having to do it.

My humble opinion is it will happen sooner rather than later, as its already creeping in. Homeserve, BG both offer this type of facility right now, it wont be long before 0800/JTM, RC and others start using it as the next marketing tool at the expense of the service agent. I know at least two WP’s are asking for it, I am in negotiations with them right now.
