    Re: Tax Question

it only means that the expense is not liable for tax but at the end of the day if still comes out of your gross profit. IE the taxman never pays for it as some people beleive that business expenses are paid for by the IR, biggest misconception in this context ive experienced with people.

    Re: Miele DW

the model number and nr number are on the side of the door usually , the nr number is equivalent to the enr number on a bosch etc, so if you can find that but nt the model number then miele should be able to tell u what it is.

    Re: LPG and costs

the rules are so tight as those that do gas work know, we are reasonsible for leaving a property with its gas applainces in safe order, so ya go to look at a cooker, theres a o/f bolier sat in the kitchen with it, then its, is there enough ventialtion, yada yada, as the corgi inspector stressed several times to me a few months back, remeber you are expected by law to leave a property with its applainces working in a safe manner, if something is left that you havent gone there for doesnt mean you arent liable if something should go horribly wrong. Hence why i think there is such a broad amount of stuff in the ccn1 that we dont think is ilrelevant to our trade but thats not what ccn1 is about, its the hse dictating the basic core of it, hence why you then have to add the appliances, tumble dryers etc on as that is the trade specific part more so.

corgi has no teeth, its a money making machine enforcing the hse rules.

btw not that im stanidng up for corgi at all coz im not, just the safety aspect of how dangerous gas really is hence what seems the ott of ccn1 but in fact isnt.

    Re: diy’ers

im not refering to a filter blocked, thats user domain any way if they read their instructions , more over the fact of telling a person how to take their machine to pieces is my point.

    Re: diy’ers

im mostly directing this as far as the net goes, yeah i give some advise over the phone but not to much as it amounts to telling a person how to fix their machine and that is of no benefit to me overall, it depends on each persons type of business maybe. the definitive premise of this website will always be as has been pointed out but it doesnt mean someone cant express an opion or question things now does it ?
