I stand corrected Chezza. Your right, it was Indesit.
Was it an early digital model with a brown fascia, think that is where I got the quartz from.

K.If my memory is correct I am sure Hirundo was a Servis Quartz badged. I can remember selling them about 20 years ago but have not seen them since.

ParticipantRe: brandt
I don’t think “ganging up” is the right word. The word is āorganised”
We are only doing what the likes of trade unions, associations, lobby groups, FSB, CIH and even DASA have been doing for years and that is combined people power. Part of the aim of all of these organisations is to negotiate fair and equitable deals for their members. We are not asking for £100 per job we are only asking Brandt to sort out problems that are affecting all of us and what we are asking for can in no way be seen as unreasonable.

I dont know how far down you come now Kevin but if you are still bordering me I will not take the work. I would hope that all in TWR would do likewise.

ParticipantRe: DASA!
I havenāt had a lot to say about this subject so far and thought it was about time I did. I posted in the DASA forum some comments about how I feel on 8th July 04 and got an immediate reply from Jason asking me to go to the DASA forums for a response. I also got an email from DASA acknowledging my comments and asking me to log onto the website for a response. Right below this request was a sentence telling me not to log onto DASA with an alias and to change my user name.
I tried to log onto the DASA forums but my password wouldnāt work so sent three emails over 2 months to Scott to requesting access. I got the survey phone call from Steve Rocheford and mentioned to him my problems accessing the site and he sent an email to Scott with a copy to me and I eventually got the password sent to me and can now get on the site and have read Jasonās response 4 months after my original posting which answered some of my questions.
Question is why did the response not go on the original post? It is after all a DASA forum with only DASA members gaining access to it. If all replies to questions are going to be sent to the DASA site why do we have a DASA forum on UKW
To finish off, my access rights to the DASA website were cut off right after my post in UKW and the reason given was that I was using an alias. Why is it that there are at least a dozen members on the site still using aliases?
I would also like to add that I have read the comments printed by Dave Pannell on DASA about Kevin being āchildishā and would like to point out the old saying āthe pot calling the kettle blackā I think the officers should have a quiet word in the his ear.

There is another thermostat behind the plastic plinth on the front of the machine. As before it should be closed circuit.

The IR sensor is only on the newer european types, easy way to tell is that the european side by sides have a digital display on the front panel and the ice bucket is in the door.
I have came across this model with a similar problem and it was the wires at the bottom of the door being worn through, worth checking.

One thing to watch though is your mortgage lender, It is in my mortgage and my deeds that I cannot run a commercial business from my home. I think this is pretty common nowadays. If you get any problem your insurance co. have a get out clause.

Your right there Ken, we had some severe issues with D&G this week at it came to the point of us giving them 30 days notice. The next day they were on the phone with most of our problems resolved.
Point is they did not want to lose us and the postcodes we cover are Leicestershire ones, not exactly out on the sticks.
So I think, we the idependants, are in a stronger position now than ever to get some co-operation and understanding from these people.
