    Re: card services

Has anyone saw the latest Iphone advert, I noticed that they have a new app that lets you take credit cards on Iphones with no extra harware. It seems like they are supporting UK businesses now as the bumf says

In addition to the USA, we support Canada and the UK, with transactions in the native currencies, $CAD and £GBP respectively.

The app is called Credit Card Terminal UK and is supplied by http://www.innerfence.com/

Looking at the pricing on the US site it costs 99¢ for the iphone app, $25 per month for the merchant account and 24¢ + 2.09{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}–3.79{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} per transaction. The 2.09{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} charge applies if you verify the card details by inputting the cardholders postcode and house number.

I have sent them an email asking them to confirm UK pricing and wonder if anyone has tried this so far??

It will either be the fridge fan, the freezer fan or the defrost element. I have never changed a PCB in one of these before.

As Chris says above, F4 is caused by the appliance not detecting any heat build up, so it looks like a faulty element in the bottom drawer.

The top drawer is also showing the signs of a faulty element so I would meter them both to be sure.

    Hi Chris,

You can do it with Acrobat Pro, just open the pdf and save as a JPG.

If you haven’t got the pro version send me the document and I will convert it for you.

    Hi Bryan,

I followed the link and booked online and got 2 nights B&B for £118 incl. Looks like they have just dropped their price.

Which one is correct?? if it is the latter it will either be one of the fans or the defrost element which is causing the fault. I have never changed a sensor in one of these fridges.

    Re: WHIRLPOOL ARC2223 FRIDGE/FREEZER

IIRC the other end of the heater wire goes to the compressor, disconnect both ends and see what happens. It looks like the heater is built into the insulation so is not replaceable.

Looking at the wiring diagram the white wire goes from number 3 on the stat to a ceiling heater.

    Re: Diplomat Grill Switch

If you Look at the exploded views for this oven there is no switch in front of the grill stat, and there is no grill stat fitted on this model.
the right hand knob has the main oven switch behind it ( PART NUMBER 78×2442 ) and second from right is the oven stat ( PART NUMBER 763759 )

Are you sure the model number is correct?
