    Re: Rejected Claims

I stopped doing work for them, they gave me a call in an area i did not cover, but asked me if i would do it as a favour as it was near my brother and i was going to fix his machine i told them i would go if it needed parts they would have to send somebody else with parts as it wasnt my area and i was going on holiday, i came back from holiday to find parts delivered i refused to go and advised them i wanted to send parts back, i got told they were out of pocket and wouldnt take them back, so i told them f*&^k of 6 months on i get an invoice each month for the parts which goes straight in the bin, it was so much hassle i always wondered why i even gave them the time of day in 1st place.

I’d be looking at the wires in the door then they can get stuck in the soundproofing and break more than likely thats the cause.

What size of clips did you use on the hoses they are very prone to leaking if they are tightened to tight or to big, i had one the other day somebody else fitted a wash pump but every time the customer used it when it filled and started to wash the water just peed into the base tripping the electric, i had to get smaller clips and a new hose working a treat now.

Re: Hotpoint washer dryer WD420 – water pouring out of soap

I’ve been throwing them away for years, and never had a complaint yet, also the gunge the builds up nowadays in machines when customers dont carry out a service wash cause the sump balls to stick and prevent pump out, especialy in the Aqualitas range etc

Throw the sump ball away it doesant make much differance to the so called detergent saved and economy, it will save the customer in grief and money clearing the things out, i reckon the the ball bobbing up and down just pushes it all to the sides of the filter causing it to block and not giving it a chance to flow away.
