    Re: Hotpoint(?) WD640 W/D exploding

I would guess it might be h20 and not F20 and most likely be a fill valve at fault, ive had a few leaking and blowing. JJ

Also they tend to lump everything together, synthetics etc along with cottons and put it on the programe with fastest and longest spin, the lighter articles may get trapped under the the heavier items which then because they are still holding more water the synthetics get forced through the holes in the drum and get snagged on the heater.

    Re: Which mobile printer?

When i got my brother printer the print was to small when it reduced from A4 TO A6 for my invoicing, i tried to alter the font size myself but the programe i use is preset, so i emailed the suppliers to see if they could modify the programe for me, they couldnt have been more helpful it cost me £20, the plus side now when i print an A4 invoice to post out to letting offices etc the invoice is more balanced i feel as there was a lot of wasted space on the old ones.JJ

I had a punter been on here for advice sent the module to emw for repair which was returned not faulty was advised must be the front module which was duly returned not faulty, i got a call which i wasnt keen on doing any way it was showing in F07 fault i checked the heater it was okay i then checked the wiring and module thats when the penny dropped the wash heater wiring was connected to the dryer conections and vice versa, as the the dryer heater was open circuit it showed an F07 fault, he had taken pictures of the wiring before he sent it off but as the dryer and wash heater wires are the same colour he got them mixed up. I think he was about £90 out of pocket before i got involved.

Not tried it myself Jim but i have heard of a couple other guys using the 1604116, seems to work okay the only problem i can see is the length of the harness maybe.

I use one of these Pocket jets with the Indesit work you need a roll of fax paper for them, when i went self employed i thought about one of them, but ruled it out due to the hassle involved it was over a year before i found the Brother i buy 10 packs of 50 blank sheets in a catridge at a time prints 500 ivoices for a £30 or so outlay.

If you dont need a colour printer, and only need it for invoicing or similar i have been using a Brother MW260 Thermal printer for over a year now, it can fit in a pocket if need be and has blue tooth. That is what i call a mobile printer i usauly have it sitting in my laptop case and customers are amazed when i print of a reciept with something so small.

Re: Updated labour charges from the Indesit Company.

The indesit work only accounts for about a third of my income now, if i have a slow time with my own work i usualy still do okay between the two, also when i get shafted by them touch wood i have so far always had enough of my own to make it up, anybody trying to survive on them only usualy end up F£${e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}$^ed, it is about 6 or 7 years since they looked at the rates they pay Franchise engineers. how many increases in spares and and service charges have they made in that time i wonder???????????????????????????????????????????????
