I served my time as an electrical fitter working all aspects of electrical and electronic engineering, at HM Dockyard Rosyth be it in a workshop, warship or the the utilities req’ to supply the base and i can solder very well as it was a neccessity of my apprenticeship. I do not like to bellittle anybody and will help when i can but these type of comments, makes me wonder why i registered for this site at all.

If you remove earthing brush from band it should come out of dry as this would indicate a high resistance, if so check the band is insulated from the drum, if it doesnt i would go for module i hope this helps you cheersjj.

Yup not allowed to solder, but i always carry my iron with me dont let the bosses know, always remove it if he is about, i served my time as a spark at one of Her Majesty’s Dockyards, wouldnt be without my iron.

Check any of the option buttons if 2 or more are jammed on it locks out and you cannot programe.

Is it a black wire with a spade it goes on the earth to the motor only other back wires are in rast plugs, i’ve never understood why they used black for this cheers jj.

I would suspect similar to uk version thermistor fauty, there is a module to overcome this as the thermistor is non replacable.

1200 and below have been fitted whith 30mm shafts, above 1200 are 35mm shafts, hope this hepls. jj

BryanWMA’S dont use Merloni electronics they are made by AKO who i believe are a subsidary of Bosch.

The Bosch motor when brushes wear down take out the board about 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time

1703080 is for the vented dryers the kit for condensor dryers is 1703273 comes whith belt and bearings, cheers jj.

The pump is wired in series with the wash motor, when it fills does it wash if not i would think the wash motor is goosed. jj

D & G started that practice on with Hotpoint about 4 years ago, most of the Chargeable work is converted to a D & G Repair + Maintenace hence the £149 over 10 months, after the year they revert back to normal rates, many a time i’ve been closing a call down and the phone rings and yeh! presto they get a contract, They sign up some old scrappers that you would,ve told the customer to save her cash and get a new one, if parts are available you have to fix.
