Re: Water Softner The Pros & Cons

I live in a very soft water area we never had any prob’s with broken spiders until the advent of liquid detergents and colour powders, i have military bases nearby had more prob’s with service folks moving here from hard water locations, i only replace elements usualy because they are damaged ,down to earth or open circuit we very rarley get elements covered in limescale it is usualy one from the bases or somebody moved from down south.

What some engineers thought was they would get overtime paid on top of the 1 in 5 allowance, going by the mood of the guy’s up and down the country it should be the 1st time in my time with the company that they get a bloody nose, supervisors are panicking trying to influance the vote.

Only had that happening a couple of times, if the door releases when power is removed i’ve found it to be power board, new module and eprom .

Sounds awfully like the rinse valve is opencirciut , these machines prefill via cold valve then sw to to hot valve then back and forth to make sure not over wash temp, during rinse they use the the other solenoid on the cold valve then for fab cond dispensing both the cold solenoids are energised, the pre wash light flashing is a fill problem.

The 8 to 10 quid for mobile is for the use of company mobile has nothing to do with computor, and from what i gather speaking to franchise guy’s there is a sliding scale on payment ie under g/tee, trade calls and chargeable calls, and ii is a lot less than 40 pounds a call saying that there is extra for doing certain jobs, like drum bearings etc.

Have always tipped it back until water is below the door scoop out with large pot or bowl then progress to smaller one, then into back with a basin to clear, incidently the latest machines coming out of wales have a filter at the front.
