Its a small pcb relay behind the console usual the culprit, dead easy to replace, not got part n/o to hand at the minute i’ll dig it out later.

I am an Electrical fitter who has an Hnc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering , do i qualify? who cares my contract of employment states i’m a FIeld service Engineer, that was a long time ago and i’ve been happy doing i could never go back to being cooped up, i love the open road, it’s not greatest pay but hey! the scenery i get to see every day people would die for and pay fortunes to go on holiday.

CON stands for conductivitry sensor, some machines have one and some dont, there is a cure and it is pretty simple realy.

If you have the error code for a washing machine for F11 they are the same, ps i know how to cure it i’ve come across it a few times.

they have a 5 year parts g/tee if it is under 5 years it will be covered.

The parts are g/teed on that model any evolution machine has a parts g/tee as does any Ariston, i,m surprised the engineer did not point this out to you.

Most Hotpoint engineers have 1 day a week when they nominate as their late night for after 5 calls, but not all engineers are on this contract. My late night is a Monday has been for over 20 years, if the late calls are booked you have to wait. We get asked to take 1st calls, late calls call between this time, avoid school run, phone an hour before calling, try and fit that lot in an 8 hour day it aint easy, plus checking and returning stock.Every engineer has an option to work 1 Saturday morning in 10 if the workload requires.
