ParticipantThanks Dave,
I suspect the fault lies either in the aqua-stop hose or board, and will return to do more tests.
Does anyone know how to conclusively test the aqua-stop, as it is sealed?

ParticipantRe-visted the washer/dryer in question earlier in the week, and did some more tests.
Confirmed fault almost certainly a board fault, which customer agrees is too expensive to replace as she doesn’t like the appliance either!
Thanks for your help.

Participantp.s. when the machine doesn’t fill on wash cycles, and aborts after a minute or so, the wash light flashes, with one beep around five second intervals, if that is useful?

ParticipantGood morning all,
Thanks for your feedback.
I’ll need to return to carry out further tests, and wonder if anyone could provide the Diagnostic Test Mode info’?

ParticipantHello again,
I’ve established that error E63 relates to the power module/circuit, which I suspect is the cause especially as a clicking noise appears to be coming from the board/relay in board, prior to beeping and displaying E63…
jontyjontymox
ParticipantWell, may have to refer this problem to Bosch.
I cannot even ascertain what error E63 relates to, despite searching online etc.
The Bosch website lists several dryer error codes, but not the above.
I contacted Bosch customer service earlier, who stated that “error E63 necessitates a Bosch engineer visit” and no other information is available for this fault…
Best wishes,jonty

ParticipantThanks ray.t,
Appears to be a suspect heat exchanger outlet valve, and wonder if it can be conclusively tested?

ParticipantThanks for your info’ Graham,
Yes, the judder/hesitation is more pronounced, and distinctly “judders” prior to rotating the drum.
Have ordered a new board, which hopefully is causing the fault.
Does anyone know how to/if the age of the machine can be ascertained by the model & serial numbers, as customer would like to know?
Regards,
jonty
jontymox
ParticipantSo, probably just an educated guess…
jontymox
ParticipantI understand that, but there was no sign of water leakage from the dispenser.
jontymox
ParticipantSorry for the late reply… message appeared in my spam folder for some reason?
Yes, I confirmed that there is a leak, and nothing trapped.
Now awaiting Beko authorisation for a replacement washer, which customer is happy with.
Out of interest, I wonder , and remain mystified as to why the Beko Agent should order a soap dispenser part/s for such a leak without even visiting, when the small leak is clearly from the door/seal, which they Agent is aware of?? (water trickling down from bottom of door along outer frame when washing)
