This dryer also has a outlet set 0570 which connects to the pump it has a actuator that diverters the watering you ever have one not filling the container check this as I’m changed a few
I find that odd that the local guy said it needed brushes as most cooker hoods are brushless motors, for your model the part is a complete motor if you contact smeg direct they are very helpful and will supply you with part number and price
I can get these on .I always put a bit of fairy liquid on the band and wear gloves and lubricant the gloves to, that being said its much easier to just fit the old type band

No it will be the power inverter module major trouble with these atm way to find the fault is make sure a load is in machine and put on spin the timing will jump from 13 mins to 4 or 3
May have a wiring diagram when you get into the test programme it may show a error very unlikely, and yes your right the 3g, 3d sensors are on the dbus
