    Funny thing they phoned me this week about this when I enquired back in March
    and said that they are looking to try and get something started before the end of the year asked about what type of area I would cover and explained that the jobs will be 1st come 1st come 1st service basis you will be able to see the rates they pay and what appliance it is and what’s wrong with it and all parts need to be ordered through them and when repair is complete they will be credited

    Hi Dave I’ve had this happen to me before the heater support I think they call it it’s what the bearing sits in is stick i had to praise it with a long flat blade screwdriver didn’t come easy though little tip loosen the motor bolts from the bottom to make the belt come off go on easier kai

    Yes they are a nightmare 4 years of doing smeg warranty work glad I don’t do them anymore

    Only thing to try is see if you can get something like 2 small allen keys through them these are a right pain be really careful 1 has nearly taken my hand off

    I’ve had this before took 2 of us to tension it im sure they are supposed to come with the pins in could contact smeg technical they are very good 0330 0947776

    Mixed load is a 4kg wash load if she’s loading it up will take longer it’s fuzzy logic working on the power module ask her for the manual and it will say wash large and small items together to help the balancing system

    Nope it’s when the door is not closed and it shows 4kg there isn’t a fault on machine it’s showing the weight load for the programme selected

    Il clear this up you are not allowed to dis connect the gas hose unless your the household and has had it fitted buy a gas safe engineer, and regards the electric side if the mains lead goes into terminal block you would be OK changing that ,your not allowed to change a thermocouple even thou thats a electrical component as its a safety device kai

    Well called back to this one today as I had a timer but was 5 button but 1 relay got the internal light to work and then the fan motor to work on the grill setting when I looked at the contacts on switch wires where in a different position on the new switch all up and running thanks both for your help kai
