Re: Bosch washer dryer – loud noise during drying cycle

If the noise is happening on the dry cycle and you can hear the noise coming from the fan motor that is more than likely the problem or it maybe something restricting the fan and causing it to make a noise that’s where to start make sure you unplug before working on appliance thou.

Water gets onto the potentiometer there is a mod for it I think but you would need to get hold of rangemaster technical these are easy to work on 2 screws at the side and the top lifts off

I would be looking at the terminal block where the mains cable should be 6mm twin and earth enters the cooker

Just to give you an idea of why you had burnt tracks on the rectifier pcb and damage to the main pcb is overloading if there is to much weight on the programme selected it puts more ware on the motor it self, hopefully your repair will work when I had this problem when I was working for Hoover candy I was told to change the motor rectifier pcb and main pcb.

There is a pcb in the back left hand corner as you look at it from the back that is at fault and need changing

When you have been in the trade over 5 year plus you get to know if a customer is going to pay or not when the say something like it’s tripping the electrics how much will that be? You get that feeling waste of time job especially when you try and explain it could be anything
