Re: Bosch Dishwasher Heat Pump failed prematurely ‘again’

How much is “thin” coating of calcium?
I would suggest that if the softener is working correctly, the salt chamber is being refilled with salt regularly, the filters and spray arms kept clear and the correct detergent being used there shouldn’t be any calcium on the element, and that is a good reason why your heat pump has failed.
Since you say the softener is set to the max, I assume you’re in a hard water area, I would suggest that the user is probably waiting for the salt light to appear before refilling with salt and that is why you’re getting the hard water wash giving you your scale.

Is the side to side air passage totally clear on the condenser?
Is the fresh air intake fan clear (if it’s the front intake version)

What lights come up when it switches off, or what is the light sequence on the front when it does it?

    Re: Senor meile dyer

Why would you even think of running it without the condenser in place?

Easy to see if the brushes are worn, by the tell tale “click”each time the sensor bands joint hits the underside of the brush assembly.
Best checking heating issues on timed drying, not sensor drying.

Re: miele cond dryer T8822c "clean out airways" after 20 m

If the condenser I’d fully clear, the front duct filter s can be clogged and need hot wate4 and a nylon brush,of sorts.
That’s where I would be looking at.

Can’t remember exactly, but dryer elements going down?
Highly likely if it’s the early 4 tag element with link wire, and not the modded 3 tag with hard bridge.

Re: Miele T8422C Tumbe dryer | Cool Down light and Buzzer Fa

Could be drum brushes worn, or temp probes issue. Haven’t had no heating causing rapid change to cooling down, as normally the machine keep running.

I would also go along with air flow issues. Blockage in the condesner, fan impellor or fluff build up across the element itself.
Probably not helped by drying for too long with too big a load and not running the fluff clean cycle enough.

Had a similar thing with a Siemens variant. Replaced the pcb and lamp and all fixed.

Re: ideas for red spot aeg/zanussi dryer stat on element

Perhaps this is just me, but are you actually prepared to do such things on such a safety related item?
Have recent events not taught anything?

Sorry but a riveted in stat stays riveted in, and as far as costs go that’s just tough luck we sometimes have to suck up.

Possible the water delivery tube that plugs into the condenser isn’t in.

Re: Replacing Bosch HBA63A250B inner door glass

Only replaced the seal when they are badly frayed or holed.
The glasses were cracked with long cracks, not hazed like a normal inner door glass. Since they were both side by side in the same kitchen ( different fd’s) and had the same chemicals used on them it had to be the oven cleaners used. They changed their cleaning regime and no repeat.
As I said though, the replacement glasses had official note inside saying no chemicals should be used on them other than normal soapy water.
