I’m with Mark one of the spray arms will have a split in the plastic weld you won’t see it but if you run a blade down it that usually helps to diagnose .

Horses for courses I suppose ,I am picking up more and more agency work ,seems like you do a good job for one and when they talk to each other your name gets passed around .
I have done hairdressers ,and offices in pedestrianised areas ,I always get them to e-mail me a works order with a pre determined BER limit so there is very little hassle with quoting etc, park as near as poss add the cost of the ticket to the bill and and my labour starts from the moment I leave the van so they pay for me to walk there and back.I also carry a small tool wallet with the basics in for fault finding ,saves me lugging the full toolbox .

This is why I have a waste carriers licence and dispose of old machines at an authorised scrap facility, and always get paperwork to prove what I have diposed of ,I also leave as many old parts with the customers as possible .

Hi Rob
You realise you have opened a can of worms don’t you ……
Firstly what experience and qualifications do you have with regard to Gas
Current or lapsed .
These have a bearing on what you will have to do and how much you will have to spend .

ParticipantRe: Scrap & Weee
I take scrap appliances to my local scrap dealer 5 machines = on average £35-£40.
I always get a weighbridge ticket and write on how many machines were scrapped ,I also put all the tickets through the books ,so everything is legit .

If we have, in writing from corgi that it is permitted to work on the electrical side of a duel fuel, that’s all we would do is post it and let each repairer make up their own mind!
AdrianI think that is all that we can do ,state the facts as given to us by the regulatory body.
Then people have to make their own mind up .
