We are constantly getting D&G customers coming through with manual referrals, now I know why…
They don’t like it though when we say that we will only do work on a pay and claim basis.
Seems to be a high volume of Gas stuff and LG washers – I assume Whirlpool are struggling in those areas, I cannot see how a large organisation like Whirlpool can make this work, as its such a broad spread of brands and product types you really have to watch the small details and by the sounds of it that isn’t happening.
If you are not from a multi brand background then no wonder you would struggle, I had heard that Whirlpool are looking for multi brand subcontract engineers.
I wonder if they are assuming that there may be loads of ex D&G agents with diary slots to fill, The only problem with that is we know how much we are worth and also lots of us have let engineers go and restructured so no longer have the capacity to fill even if we wished to.

Well after 20 plus years we were binned by D&G, at the time it seemed like a disaster, but I have to say I don’t miss the work or the customers, Whirlpool are welcome to it, I bet their guys must be loving it

Yeah we got the same, before anyone thinks well work is work, with a decent web site you can get the work direct, looking at the Owners history he knows his way around the web,as soon as you give him your postcode he will
flood your area with google AdWords and then pass work to you

I just hope Minerva are better in all aspects

From what I understand it wasn’t the engineers that were the issue

if you stripped the base off the pump housing (the white part) then yes there should be an o ring that sits around the circumference of the base, if it is still there check it hasn’t been “nipped” up

Re: Rangemaster classic 90 Induction – oven temp

whats the full model and serial Matt ? also whats the door latch like ?
To access stats etc its one of 2 ways depending upon model
    either –
look on LH & RH side panels for rubber covers the size of a 5p towards the top and front of the panel ,removing the bung will reveal a pozi screw , remove and then the deck hinges up
    Or
remove the fascia end plates which reveals a bracket with a screw , remove the screw and then look at the bottom of the side panel there is s screw holding the lower part of the panel in place – remove it and remove the side panel which reveals pozi screws at the top , remove them and the deck lifts and hinges at the back.
some stats come complete with switch others are just stats on there own that clip in the back of the switch
