This guy is local to me and a first class D”;ck,he subbed for us once and tried to tout every one of the customers for himself ,We make a fortune out of him where he starts a Smeg and can’t finish it ,and then tells the customer to come to us …

Mate you have done a great job of holding it together for so long ,now you need to take stock and make decisions without distractions.

Listen you daft welsh bugger NO ONE thinks badly of you ,go and do what you need to do ,still come to the meetings if you want and have a laugh with us and buy us beer – I mean we will buy you a beer πŸ˜‰

Do not think that we will let you go easily though,we want a full report of where you are and what you’re up to at regular intervals -so long as your not on a beach in Miami though…

On a serious note we would not have got as far as we have without you, thanks for all you have done ,especially with the OFT stuff .
    Look after yourself .

Re: Card Payment facility incl terminal

This is one of the member benefits we have been working on for a while and its great to see it pulled off finally. See we do listen πŸ˜‰

Now If anyone is wondering do I really need a terminal ,let me tell you why I use one .

By advertising cards accepted on our website I know for a fact that generates more business.

At the end of every day I do an end of day banking on my terminal ,that means all that days transactions are banked ,no cheques to go to the bank just a click of a button ,that in turn improves cashflow πŸ˜€ .
It looks professional with customers which gives you an edge ,and every edge counts .

Its the little things that count ,and I find having card payment facilities an absolute must now and would never go back.

    Re: February 2012

    Chill….
So they copy us ,don’t forget we are two no make that three meetings like this ahead of them ,Also take a look at their programme ,they still don’t get it …
They register everyone then tell them “scuse us we need to go and have OUR meeting in another room ,just wait there and amuse yourselves ” How Bl00dy rude is that ?

Basically they are stuck in a downward spin and they are doing what they have always done ,the basic premise of DASA is still jobs for the boys ,thats why the people THEY regard as key players are there ,Will any off them ask the Dude from Bosch why they are hampering the indies with regards to tech ,will they hell ,half of the DASA committee are selling Bosch in their retail outlets and are doing seller service !!
The point is that our very existence is about the independents ,Without a radical rethink and lots of people being pushed of the top table theres can never be ..

If I go it won’t be on my own.. I also need to accumulate some serious brownie points to be able to get away with it .

I am proud that the WTA is inclusive within its remit and constitution, its as it should be .
I also have no problem with DASA attending ,although this time there will be NO gatecrashers during presentations .
Let them see how it should be done ,cos try as they might they will never be able to do it because they are constrained by what they have become ,lets keep highlighting the differences ,banging the independent drum ,and improving the life for the small guy on the ground .
Thats what we are about and always will be

DASA were at the last meeting in the shape of David Parks and Simon Flint of Masterfix.
I know that Simon has nailed his colours very firmly to the DASA mast as he told my engineers so on Samsung Training .
We should be flattered they have copied our format I think .

Did two of these today both at same site ,I discovered a piece of tape stuck inside the front of the cabinet that must have held the seal in place when fitting in the factory .piece of gaffer tape did the trick both fitted within 10 mins ,can’t see how they came off though …
