Can only suggest ring EMW, explain situation and ask what they think. They do a couple of sackfuls of modules every day I understand, so there won’t be much they haven’t heard before. They might have another module in stock they can send out for you to try if you talk sweetly to them. (Personally, I would have thrown in the towel before this point and cut my losses – to my sanity that is.)

Nothing listed on Connect for that model. I had to do an LG heater once and a Hotpoint WM series fitted perfectly. Also, if you tap in LG heater to Connect’s search box, that’s the one that’s top of the list.
Take the old one out; if it doesn’t go back in too easy, shave the grommet down a bit with a craft knife and use a bit of debor.

Thanks Phidom. I’ve seen some stuff on you tube / instructables etc like that. I’ve got a few ideas of my own in mind too. Will update as and when. Only problem I can foresee is if there is additional invisible damage elsewhere on board. I reckon it’s a 50/50 chance and I ain’t got nuthin else to do right now.

Could be damp or possibly low insulation somewhere (motor, heater). Had a couple of these with a E54 diagnostic result IIRC which translates as motor circuit area. (Not much help really). One machine was sorted with a hair dryer on motor, (two occasions, years apart) and the other by replacing all the relays on the board. (Probably only one was faulty, but didn’t know which, they all tested OK.)
Diagnostics are probably on Connect Mediator but maybe someone’s already sent them by now.

It’s OK. I think I found it. Had a dud EWM2000 board and there are several ACS1025T on there. Only difference is this one ends in 6. So put ACS1026T into RS’ search box and got a result. Will update when have received and fitted.

Just ticking over here, barely. Been quiet since before Christmas. Not that I worry. Gives me time to think about a change of career.

So thank you eSpares, you saved me a fortune on having to repair or replace my washing machine and gave me a great sense of achievement. I have already passed on details of the eSpares website to friends and family who have successfully prolonged the life of their appliances and saved pounds they would otherwise have to spend out on repairing or replacing these.Agree with Kladave. Keith is a fictitious character for sure. (Or is possibly on the board of directors.) Very unlikely he had friends and family all in the position of needing repairs done and using e-spares and all in time for him to write his review. Anyone who takes that review as read is very naive. Just the sort of mug customer they’re looking for in fact.

Hmm. Sounds like an interesting idea screaming out to be invented. So I did a quick Google and found this

Looks like you’d have to devise your own clamp though.

Don’t you find that technique doesn’t seem to work too well with Zanussi,
Martin? It always seems to me that the positioning of everything has to be exact, otherwise it’s no go.

I wasn’t suggesting you should buy from elementman. His is a retail site and normally much more expensive than Connect, Masterpart, Qualtex etc. However his site and others like it are well made and are excellent for finding what parts look like, dimensions, and especially what models they fit.

Looks to me like they may have made it NLA, so you have to buy whole stator. 👿

230 is almost certainly the diameter of the element. Have a dekko here for some inspiration. Closest looks like last one on page.
