Snow now falling here, too. And settling. A rather rare occurrence. There’s an inch out there at the moment
    😯 .
Looks like a day off for me tomorrow 😀
Still, plenty to do indoors. Might try and get to a couple of local jobs.

Could very well be. They don’t like it damp! Tip machine back and look for condensation on plastic brush holders. I don’t know why it settles there but it does.

    I’d recommend calling this lot08448 225 225
I’ve found them very fast, helpful, know their stuff 😯 , and will give you trade price on request without evidence.
Mind you that job looks like a real challenge, unless the bearing cross comes already fitted with the new drum.

    Re: Motor Pulley Washing machine

Last time I managed it was with an old Hotpoint about twenty years ago when they had flats on the end of the pulley. You’ll probably end up destroying the windings with heat or pressure if it hasn’t happened already.

    Re: indeit oldie, 1069w

Think those old ones don’t start to distribute till temperature is reached. Try bridging across the variable stat (think there’s only two terminals?) to make it think temp has been reached. Probably stat is obsolete by now though.

There’s one in shop@ fits BIEF900SS so either they’ve added an F or you’ve left one out. 12570030 anyway and I expect you can find something equivalent ’cause that one’s £46.07 😯

Good to know that. Next time I’ll swop the springs over from the old brushes.
