When you say element tests OK- have you actually run it up on a flying lead? Sometimes an element will heat up a little then fail as it warms.
I assume we’re talking about the base element R2100011 (Masterpart).

Thanks bendy. Sounds like I’m on a winner here; though not quite sure why, when a toc cuts out, it’s the toc that’s at fault and not something overheating. πŸ˜•
Looking for part on Conn and Mpt – can’t find anything fitting description will ring Zanussi agent Monday.

Thanks wench. Have booked it in for next Thursday. Now have the further info that cooking at 190 deg is OK, just takes a bit longer, but when temp. is set to 200 or more it cuts out and cuts back in after cooling.

    Re: Connect what a joke!

I just had one of those courtesy calls – found it on my call minder when got in, and I decided to ring back to chase up an outstanding CMP.
So I rang the 0121 no. on my display -the one my rep had apparently rung me on. Was answered by young lady in “reception” who said she was sorry but unable to help me other than to give me the number for customer services… 0870…. I asked her if she could give me an 0121 number for c/s to which she again apologised that that was not possible.
I think.. well never mind what I think.

    Re: 6.2kohm resistors

This’ll be for some old Servis module, right? I remember using a combination of 3.3k’s to replace them one time. It might have come to 6.6 but it worked fine.
I have to admit to not knowing what the job of those big resistors is in this context. I just find them burnt out, replace them and the motor works again!

Whoops, sorry Steve. Had one in my box of old motors in the yard which I’d forgotten about. Hope I didn’t put you or anyone else to any trouble searching.

Didn’t have sufficient other stuff to make up a worthwhile order before going back today so tried a pattern Hotpoint WM series htr w. ntc which had excess stock of. Fitted a treat despite rather different shape of grommet.

I was surprised too. It was a Prima LPR600 supplied as part of a kitchen package. The customer built his kitchen around it and I got him to unbuild it so I could work on it πŸ˜† .

Can’t find that model no. anywhere.
If it’s quite old, does it have the blue tubes in the pressure system when you unscrew the hat shaped thing on right of sump inside tub? Have you cleaned them out? That would cause prog. to stop whilst waiting for water. Or horsehoe tube underneath.

Re: Creda 49702 dble ovn fr. stndng ckr circuit/wiring diagr

That’s great to hear somebody else had same problem. Thanks for that Clive. Still don’t understand how previous motor lasted ten years πŸ˜• . (Following two or three that lasted one year each – customer has kept a mental note).
Side note:- Old mtr coil 66ohms, new one 44ohms. πŸ˜•
It’s got sentimental value, this one. Wedding present, top of the range, looked after with loving care – (’till I got my hands on it). Still, you can understand them wanting to save it when you see the cr@p that’s out there now.
