And if 1 st agent is more expensive than the 3rd, he’ll then be the 1st agent etc etc.

Ofcourse they do pay everyone the same fee. 😆

Yesterday I tried to explain to a plumber that the extension on the waste pipe of the new intergrated D/w was too long and when you disconnected the extension and tested and the appliance emptied ok, that the reason the appliance fails too drain with extension is due to the extension, so why did you still believe the fault is with the appliance, you muppet !!!!!!!!

Mrs M you now need to pay the call out of £80.00 to the company as there is not a fault.

Yeah, but my plumber said its the m/c. Yep but its your appliance and you rung us, you’ll need to claim the money from the plumber.

He argued so I showed him the yellow sticker still on the end of the waste pipe warning of the max length and also the instructions showing a drawing of the limitations.

RTFM, Read The F888in Manual. :rolls:

Then it was off to an induction hob that was getting the glass warm on the left corner without being used.

The installation again was wrong, manual requires a 150mm gap between the vented base and the upright of an adjacent cupboard.

Guess what the vented base did not have a gap and the indiots installed a fridge next to it, so they cannot move the hob over, looks like the whole one side will need to be re designed or the hob will need to be replaced with a conventional cheap one.

    OOppps.

    RTFM again. :rolls:

Re: Pat testing – training/equipment costs Vs income

I was on a gas refresher a few months ago, several part P guys passed part P and then as an extra took the City and Guilds Pat Test course, they all failed, much to there annoyance and the delight of the centre they had to resit the exam.

C&G have a very simply 2 day course, there isn’t much too it, but there computor test is worded very very complicated, I’ve come accross guys with 8 yrs PAT experience failing the course.

I think money is the driving force.

    Re: Repaircare

You simply build stock by over ordering parts, stating you fitted them and keep for other calls.

You need to play the paperwork game.

Unless your an employee, then you keep the parts for your fiddles or E bay.

Not that any in the industry I no do it of course. 😉

I haven’t been on much lately.

In my experience Asian people don’t pay as willingly as other nationalities. like the Irish. 😆

Yes I’m also a bigot and anti gay, lifetime member of the BMP, Combat 18 and any other racial hate group that is willing to fight for the UK.

Re: now i seen it all

I had one last week on the side of a house, kitchen too small, so placed W/M and T/D in a plastic shed.

Only trouble being no drain for waste water.

So client has placed waste pipe into a green wheelie bin and punched a hole in the base, this is all placed on gravel.

After one drain of the drum there is surface water as the sub soil is so wet.

The water is then filling the base of the shed and making it appear that the appliance is leaking.

I’m waiting to hear the bang as I live a few hundred meters away.

On a normal wash load the amount of water is huge.

Tried to explain the issues with the enviroment etc, look on there faces gave me the fealing I was talking in Dutch.

    Re: dammed public

Its the modern way of doin business.

There is no guilt, there is no recourse and they have the attitude that “I’ll do what I want, when I want attitude”.

I did a quote of £35.00 to an Asian gentlemen to fit his Servis W/m door seal.

On arrival the hole was the drain tube :rolls: there was nothing wrong with the door seal, the leak was coming from his drippin water pipes, too which I tightened, tested appliance just to be sure and then wrote bill out for the agreed £35.00 total time at property 40 minutes.

But I’m not paying you as you haven’t done anything, he still never paid me and I’ve written asking for payment before issuing a County summons.

Although when I was packing up my tools I needed to retrieve my torch and i noticed a crack on his module, I have no idea how his module got damaged.

Who was it that stated every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

Or if you can’t beat them, join them.
