    If fridge to cold and freezer not really getting cold then main suspect is divertor valve, if not I would go with pcb.

    Re: Hotpoint WD420 dryer problem

    The wording out of a wd420 manual. 😀

    There are two heat settings, high and low heat.

    The default setting is low heat, High Heat is selected by means of a push button on the console.

    The drying time is selected by means of a rotary switch also located on the console. The drying times are followed by a 20 minute cool tumble.

    Re: help with awod4505 fault code

    Lights 3 & 4 and bottom right are f12.

    Fault -The failure modes are checked before the cycle starts.
    Potential causes
    :- Resistance of heater
    :- Resistance of heater connectors to ground
    :- Wiring connectors to heater and CUC
    :- Check the CUC

    hopes this helps if not pm me your email and I will forward text legend (fault codes). 😀

    Hall sensor is screwed onto stator and detects the spin but even though LG say the stator never go’s it is always better to change as when I have changed the hall sensor it is very hit and miss.

    That should be the part number for valve only as per hotpoint/indesit website. 😕

    Blockage could be in metering tank or pressure switch failure / water in pipe if switch has dropped from correct position.

    Lower element failure

    Check security of module connector J4;
    Test between pins 4 and 3 on J4 (approximately 48 Ohms);
    If open circuit, test lower element and wiring between J4 and
    the heater.

    70802.0000, from this serial the one shot thermostat is wired into module if this operates the unit will appear dead. 😀

    Hall sensor can go but normally is the stator. Pcb’s one is display and the other is the main pcb. 😀
