I did a bit more research into resistors π π It’s a minefield I never knew that there were so many variations and types. π I think the type that is fitted to the board in question may be a fusable type π

So is this a TA or a Union that is being created? π
Open to all is OK but IMO some employers (companies/ manufacturers )may be a bit peeved if they knew that their employees were part of it, as we all know some employees contributing to UKWG have been warned off, bit like the old union/managment attitudes of the past I fear.

Been to a new kitchen this week which my dog could have fitted better π₯ Socket outlet over sink!!! should be at least 300mm away, cooker switch over cooker should be at the side so you don’t get burnt when the chip pan goes on fire π₯ Socket outlet for washing machine fixed to cupboard under water fittings, should be fixed to the structure of the building with at least a isolation switch above the work top. etc, etc
I asked who had done the electrics, she replied the guy who fitted the kitchen so I enquired if she had a certificate for the electrics. Do I need a certificate? so I pointed out the Part P requirements. So she says, should the fitter have supplied me with one? YES I said. π
GOT HIM she said, it cost me over Β£3000 to have my lovely kitchen turned into this heap of crap, and he won’t come back to put everything right that we have spotted. Who do I contact about this Part P?. Buildings inspector at the Council would be a good start I said.
I would expect I will be getting a nasty phone call off this guy, I can’t wait π

Perseverence your on the right track, take the little fellow? for regular short walks on grass he/she will soon get the idea. Make sure that you have the pup inoculated he will start sniffing where other dogs have been and the penny should drop. Stick at it π
I train gundogs by the way π and before anyone says anything, no they can’t get the gun upto their shoulder :rolls:maltheviking

Built in DW wedged tight into the opening, fitters hadn’t tighted a conex pipe fitting enough, dripping away for three years π₯ customer doesnβt notice the leak. I am called in because the DW packs up I try to take the plinth off and it crumbles in my hand π― Then I noticed the cupboards are all warped, customer hadn’t noticed that either but did comment that they thought the doors werenβt lining up :rotl: Next thing I find that the DW wouldn’t budge for love nor money the cupboards had swollen that much. Customer tried to make contact with the kitchen fitter (loosely phrased) :rotl: only to find out that he had done a bunk.
Customer asks me if I could do something π two mins I said and came back with the hammer out of the van. In full agreement I pulverized the units π Customer ended up with a working DW and several redundant cupboard doors, and apologized for all the hassle gave me an extra fiver, YES!maltheviking
