    Hi Lisa
You will have to do a 48 hours de-frost as helo_75 recommends, with the door open and a towel to mop up the water πŸ˜‰

Could you give me a flow of things to check?

    Hi Tim
The fan is in the back of the freezer (inside). it should be running to circulate chilled air. They generally get worn bearings and the speed starts to slow down or stop. I cannot remember if you can see the fan on this model, but you should be able to feel air circulating from it. Another problem when they go faulty is that you get an ice build preventing ciculation you may need to do a de-frost.
I would not rule out that you may have a faulty module and/or thermistor, but check the fan first

TBH it has gone tits up since they closed Sittingbourne, the poor staff at Burnley has been thrown in at the deep end, they obviously know their stuff on boilers but naff all in white goods. Sadly it’s a case of the “the computer say no”

They had a massive library of service manuals at Sittingbourne, probably disappeared along with the redundancies. I wonder how many of the manuals are now sitting on Qualtex’s desks :rolls:

In the long run Wolesley will know doubt sell off the white goods side as a loss, probably to be snapped up by Connect then we will really be stuffed as they will dictate spares price to suit themselves, not that they and Hot/Mer/Ind are not doing that now IMO

    Re: whirlpool t/loader

I’m with Brian on this πŸ˜‰ the impellor may be stripped in the pump, also some of these T/L pumps have a none return valve in the outlet, have a look and see that this isn’t the prob. πŸ™‚

PS there is also a spacer fitted over the motor shaft, check this.

Check the two dropper resistors on the PCB, desolder them first πŸ™‚

True, they have picked up a lot of business , shame that the are not up to speed with customer satisfaction. πŸ˜• I am still waiting after numerous contacts for them to match discount levels until then I will still put most of my business through Parts Centre as they give me good margins although Seme can blow the socks of some prices πŸ˜‰

User says it stays there and completes the programme.

She also said that the programme overheated or so she thought but if she set it on 40 and it washed at 60 or 90 that explains it.

cheers πŸ™‚These beggers can do strange things because of bad insulation on the heater and/or the pump.
My gut feeling would be to swop the timer with this strange fault, quick and easy. I think you may to have a”suck it and see”.

Thanks for the reply Dave πŸ˜‰ I have nailed this down to a 2 watt metal film by “cracking” the outer cover of the resistor and inspecting πŸ™‚ I am just about to order some. I will try and give an update. πŸ™‚
