How do you get it to stick up like that…wax or axle grease?

Yes thanks, it indicates to me that as your machine does not have a flow sensor, your problem is water pressure (pretty sure)!

Now I would suggest you check the water inlet valve filter (remove cold hose to access) as the fine mesh may be silted up?

As your machine is under 2 years old it is still under warranty and you could get Bosch in to take a look, though I doubt there isn’t any fault with the dispenser or valve though?

Oh dear! Its a vital reference book for users when things go wrong and stuff 😥

Several variables here on this one, difficult to know. Labour charges from and independent engineer (see link below) are around half that of Ariston though 🙂

bert_blagger wrote:I’ve read somewhere that these have 5 year warranty?

I hope that you read it on the paperwork you got with the appliance then?

bert_blagger wrote:Does this mean I just pay for engineer call out fee (£90) and parts are inclusive?

Yes that’s the way it works if you have that all important 5year Warranty!

Probably not, best leave it to us experts eh 😉

Re: Bosch WFT2800 Wets Clothes as it “Dries”!

    John,

This is an odd fault I must admit 😉 Now almost always the fault you describe is due to pump failure, what is odd is that on the dryer ‘service wash 7’ the pump appears to drain out OK?…very strange.

Now as you may know during the drying cycle a trickle of water flows through the condenser. All the while the dryer operates water flows through that condenser, the pump should be running and you should observe a trickle of water coming out of the drain pipe?

I guess that is not happening in your case and possibly the pump is not running for some reason? Which brings me back to my first point about a likely worn out pump (it should be by now as its old enough!)

    Hope that helps?

    Re: Dishwasher fault – HELP

The ‘Flood Protection’ switch has activated and as a result only the drain pump will operate. The baseplate will have water in it due to an internal leak. Turn off the power first, then tip the appliance slightly backwards (only backwards!) and see if any water comes out of the base?

Are you sure the fan is working? If the fan wasn’t then the oven cavity would indeed turn into a steamer, contents would take twice as long to cook and would never ‘brown’ 😕

Oh dear! The main Circulating Pump will be the humming noise and the burning smell then. 🙁

About £130 (ish) to fix (Including labour etc) and a common fault on machines over 2 years old I’m afraid 😥

Time to check out a new Bosch I suspect?
