Pump/draining out problems then I guess? Make sure the filters are clean and that the lowest point below those filters is spotlessly clean and no food debris.

Dodgy pump or blocked waste hose/hose coupling I would think outside of that 😉

Absolutely correct, in fact (though you didn’t give us the model number of your machine) it probably doesn’t have a hot supply connected to it?

Ariel Tablets are certain to solve the problem for you by the way 😉

There is a small white bodied chamber on the back of the drum that could easily get blocked?

    Tim,

It would be better to stick to using the thread you first posted on. (I did reply to your post after all 😉 )

Duplicate threads lead to confusion at the best of times furthermore yours isn’t a ‘parts’ issue at this stage. Please return to that thread where I can elaborate a little further to assist you. 🙂

Re: Indesit D63 gets to just past 3 then stops

If it sticks and does nothing, then its probably unable to fill with water (i.e water supply fault or inlet valve fault)

If it sticks after it has filled and its washing away happily but not progressing through to the next stage, then its likely a heating fault?

Do tell us what it is or isn’t doing when it “sticks”?

If you ‘pinch’ the flap valve by badly positioning the corbin clip (or jubilee clip) that will tend to hold the valve tight against the pump body and cause the fault 😉

Ensure the drain hose is well pushed on and the clamp clear of the area adjacent the flap mounting.

We would be very grateful if you could Keith thanks 🙂

We have this thing going with Indesit v’s Trading Standards at the moment and the IPX rating knowledge would be most interesting indeed 😉

Accepting the insurance companies offer of a replacement machine surely will include removal of the old machine and installing the new?

Accepting a £250 cash settlement will at least give you the option of getting a better machine but all the fag of disposal and re-installation etc.

Underground is not an option, exterior 22mm gas pipes are resin shielded for running along an outside wall. Inside the only option is across the roof space or between floors with plain copper pipework.

    Re: Bosch SGS0902GB/04 FD8010 Dishwasher

After checking the ‘usual’ causes (i.e crud in pressure chamber to sump hose, pump chamber and non return valve clear, heater working and spray arms circulating loads of water etc) Then it could be the turpidary sensor playing tricks and often a good flush through with a dishwasher cleaner a couple of times may cure?

I trust they are putting salt into the thing are they?

Alex Gadsden demonstrated his invention to great effect on Richard Hammond’s 5 o’clock Show on ITV today!

His pedal power showed how well he could do a wash with excellent results. The final spin speed seemed extremely fast too. 😯

Well done and every success with it Alex
