This model doesn’t have one Greg, you’re thinking of the Crosslee/Bosch WTA2000 type maybe?

Keep twiddlin’ that dryer knob as it’s ‘OFF’ position is clearly not where you think it is 😕

More than likely it’s the water inlet valve at fault. A new one can be obtained here

If you need help fitting it then click on the link below 😉

Deep joy! and I’m pleased your persistence paid off, it certainly proved me wrong about AC180 Pressure Switches that’s for sure 😳

It depends what type of thermometer you’re using? The cheap analogue stand alone ones that sit on the oven shelf are very unreliable at best. Only a digital electronic device with a remote sensor probe will deliver a true reading to within 5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}. It will only do that provided the oven thermometer is allowed to ‘cycle’ at least 3 times as well 😉

Usually oven thermostats are very reliable and as you have replaced yours, I venture to suggest the fan motor or indeed the fan element the more likely culprits in this case?

Make sure the external vent is not blocked? Try running the machine and check the exhaust air flow? Is the drum rotating?

    Re: Bra wire strikes again.

Very tricky sometimes to extract an errant bra wire. Look carefully with a torch inside the drum to see if you can locate then grab hold of it with a pair of pliers?

If its stuck fast between the inner and outer drums then its usually caught on the heating element and only removing the heater or the sump hose will allow access. Best seek help if that’s the case (see below) 😉

    Re: washer over fill

I wonder if you have checked the air pressure hose for leaks? Simply blow gently up the pipe (air chamber end) until the Pressure switch clicks, then hold the end of the pipe tightly with a pair of pliers and wait a few seconds to see is the Pressure switch clicks out caused by a pin-hole in that hose?

I’ve never changed a Pressure switch on that model before by the way!

I wonder what the state of the Heating Elements insulation is like also? 😕

Seems a bit steep? But I guess extra catalogues are costly to produce but I’m sure Masterpart can do a better deal for you? 😉

Re: aeg cwd fan belt keeps jumping off

They should line up exactly and if not either the motor drive pulley is misplaced or (more often the case) the fan unit seizes up. Both should be easy to spin when belt is attached!
