Not sold in the UK I don’t think. What is the full model number?

It’s a gravity fed pump and not a suction pump therefore whatever pipe work lies beyond the pump and its final outlet will equal the quantity of water remaining.

Ah excreta, well where is Lee8 anyway? Best part of 6 weeks and no show. Has he gone on holiday to Syria?

You were mistaken, the cheapest Indesit 7kg is £196.99 at Argos. Mind you you can buy a nice Bush 6kg from them for £145.99. 😀

You’ve just missed bonfire night so Indesit/Hotpoint is out of the question. So Beko is indeed your only option.

Incidentally the model number and PNc number do not tally. The PNc refers to an EWFB11410K…..very odd. 🙁

Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers

I’m with you robbra, I agree totally with your comments. Indeed whilst the lint filter is there to prevent lint getting on the element, the design is flawed in that there is no ‘override factor’. Once the filter becomes saturated beyond the acceptable air flow limitations then the only course lint can take is through the front drum seal and directly back to the heater element.

Therefore the only, repeat, only reason lint gets on to the element is as a result of lint filter saturation or that it has fallen apart allowing lint to escape.

Apologies for my ‘granny egg sucking’ statement. We in the trade appreciate this anyway, don’t we? 😉

Surely the lint filter is at the front, never did a good job anyway as evidenced when taking the side panels off but this problem is behind the drum…no?

The problem is lint getting onto the heater. The lint filter is the first and only line of defence against this. Hence the problem that most users don’t clean it regularly OR replace it when the unit breaks.

The old adage “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” springs to mind. 😉

If the user clears the lint filter after every use there’s no problem anyway!

Thanks for that. The top oven and bottom oven controls are completely separate and not interlinked. Given that the original fault was the bottom (main) oven fan element, that was changed. A given that it worked successfully afterwards the current fault with the top oven/grill is another issue entirely I would suggest.

Most likely the grill selector switch is at fault in this case.

You might like to double check the measurements but ELE2044 might be what you need?

Could you double check that model number (ENr) again?
