Ford deleted this advert for obvious reasons, but for those that haven’t yet seen it I have amended the ‘links’ 🙂
View them with caution 🙄

I think we need to come up with a cunning plan to gain more interest. Perhaps it is an idea to put a bit of bait out to attract more interested parties. As I see it at the moment there isn’t a lot happening in the section and we really need to pull more members in.
Alex,
Just to let you know that the subject still is very much in mind, Ken and I have been working on this all the while. I am pleased to report that indeed more of our colleagues have joined since your posting and others (at this moment in time) are having their applications processed 🙂
The “cunning plan” in this case was simply to point out the advantages via ‘pm’ to each any every one 😉

It does sound as though the lightning strike has zapped the Auto Timer Unit (bit expensive at around £130 plus 🙁 ) Does the “Auto” light show ’cause if it does you will first need to set the clock unit to “Manual” then see if it heats up ❓
Not sure about the hob ignitor, sorry 🙁

Furhan,
Try this link that should help you, it has both pdf file downloads and Indesit’s email address 😉

Also, I assume you have checked the oven temperature to see if the stat is cutting out OK?

I’m sorry but I haven’t a clue either 🙁 Can I suggest you contact Bosch and request another FREE copy of the user instructions for your model of machine. The booklet will surely tell all and make life a lot quieter for you 🙂 Try this link: –

Billbro,
Ask your local shop if they stock the Hoover/Candy belt that fits most current models including the commonplace Hoover AC120 and Candy Activa range….it’s the same belt and will fit, and may save a long wait for the ‘dark side of the moon’ to reappear 😉

ParticipantRe: 2 problems: Zanussi washing machine, Phillips fridge
Long,
The model number of your fridge/freezer can usually be found on a label in the vacinity of the salad drawer 😉 Possibly the drain channel from the evaporator (assuming the fridge is a ‘larder type’? is blocked and may need cleaning. (Careful though dont use sharp metal objects here 🙁 )
Your washing machine, likely that the leak is coming from the dispenser and not the door seal (assuming the door glass is clean and clear of any limescale ridges on the glass) If the knife-edge rubber door seal is clean and true it should be OK.
Take out the dispenser drawer and give it a good clean and clean out the dispenser cavity around the inlet nozzles as they could be blocked 🙂
Hope that helps?

Billbro,
What is the model number of your machine? As Penguin said its behind the filter flap and begins with the letter M. It would give a clearer picture for us as there may be other factors to consider that could lead to the same symptoms 😕

Stop-cock behind false backpanel somewhere or directly behind the waste disposal unit that then has to be removed first 🙁

ParticipantRe: Indesit Washer Dryer WDE 12-Error F-13
elsiduk,
The error does indeed relate to a ‘Thermistor’ fault (Part No: C00080767) I would get an engineer to check it out for you. It may be blocked with fluff for example.
You need to call in us experts 😉 It’s NOT a DIY fix ❗

ParticipantRe: Indesit WD 12S not drying
Chimp,
Can you be a little more specific here? Does the dryer heat up at all, is the blower fan working, does the pump run?
Just 3 of an number of aspects required for the dryer to work 🙁
The ‘Temperature Sensor’ (thermistor) will usually show an error ‘flash’ code if it were faulty though.
And parts are specific to the model and only for that model I’m afraid 🙁
