lakielotz,
The Door Glass is Part No: 1602523 at around £10+VAT&P&P. As the glass ‘fell off’ it’s likely the reason was broken Door Bowl Retainers. 😉 There are 4 (Part No: 169042 approx £2.50 each) And maybe even the Door Latch Plate has broken (Part No: 1602393 approx £3.00+VAT)
I advise getting the lot to be sure, and you can order from us via our ‘Help Desk’!

Is this the same guy you called out, now diagnosing the ‘new’ Module as faulty I wonder ❓ 😕

Oh! Dave’s into Induction Hobs now eh 😉 Only a few weeks back he’d never heard of them 😆
Actually, they are pretty darned neat. The first one I saw demonstrated, the guy put 4 large icecubes on the hob and on top of them he placed a 6 inch square asbestos tile and sat the pan on that, then hard boiled an egg for 10 minutes. The ice cubes had not melted!……..Pretty cool demo I reckon 🙂

P.S. Tell your customer she must use ice cubes next time she boils a pan 😆

Dimo,
9 flashes indicates “Eeprom incompatability”. When fitting the correct eeprom to the module, you will need to carry out a “reset”. The 3 flashes may well indicate the previous fault and can be ignored until after resetting. If it happens then, you may have a fault with the Thermostat or whatever. 😕
Sorry cannot advise further I’m afraid, as I would need to check out the machine as a whole 🙁

Any idea what it can mean?Dimo,
As long as it is a genuine replacement part specific to that model AND you fit it the correct way round (Semi-circular mark on Eeprom to fit towards semi-circular mark on the board) you will be fine 😉
A word of caution, there are 2 models with 2 very different Eeproms. The Eeprom to fit an Ariston AWD12UK is Part No C00092563. The Eeprom to fit the Ariston AWD12SUK is Part No C00092678. No idea what “Code 3” means sorry as long as the part numbers tally you’ll be all set! 😉

Robert,
Just get a local guy in as I said in my email. slimline dishwashers are tricky to mess with 🙁 But I am sure it simply something caught in the drain pump.) And NO the arrow you see on the bottom panel is for raising and lowering the rear adjusting feet (only on some models though) and not pump access I’m afraid. It’s more complicated than that!
Just get a guy in to tweak the pump and away it will go I’m sure 🙂

simonb wrote:best advice is have a play about with it on a machine by removing wires of componants etc and putting it through test see what it comes up with
Thanks Simon,
It seems therefore that the ‘Flashes Codes’ from the LED are indeed the same with or without the ‘Test Plug’ which is fine. And that the only point of the Test Plug is that it puts the machine through a preset ‘Test Sequence’………Got it! 🙂
Not much point in shelling out on one then really 😉 As you say, the time it takes to run through the test process, you could have changed the brushes, heater or pump, whatever in half the time. 😆
These things are best left for Training School classes but bugger all use in the field eh 😉
Thanks anyway for the loan, and by the way, I do have a DVD read/write drive for the other things you mentioned in ‘your notes’…. 😉
All info gratefully received, copied and returned unharmed via Recorded delivery…Nice one mate!

ParticipantRe: Creda Simplicity Tumble Drier Door hinge
Watermeade,
Model Number and Serial Number are required I’m afraid, so we can look the part up. Usually on later models it is the hinge and the plastic hinge supports that are required 😉

ParticipantRe: Indesit/Ariston “test plug”
Simonb,
I acknowledge receipt of the Test Plug and Instructions, many thanks! Will return them to you A.S.A.P!
I just flicked through the pages before going to work this morning and noted that on the ‘Test Procedure’, it appears to me that the ‘Fault Codes’ for the Flashing LED only relate to the use of the ‘Test Plug’. Therefore the Error Codes we have published for Merloni here on UKW do not necessarily represent the actual fault code unless the Test Plug is used?????
Can you confirm that that is correct I wonder?

I saw Shaun Udal in action today at a friendly in Eversley, Hampshire. He is so sharp and well honed that I don’t think the Lancs wicket will be standing up for long on Monday 😉

Thinking about it I hav`nt seen him on here lately, is he away on a fishing trip 😉 .Don,
He did waddle in here late yesterday but I expect he is knocking a few balls about at Troon today 😉
Hampshire on their home turf should be a safe bet to go through, but Lancashire are a pretty strong side this season so it won’t be easy!
