    Generally speaking a well placed Yellow Pages ad should yield at least 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of new business. That is my finding at least, based on being in Yellow Pages for 30 plus years.

    A 1/4 column is a good size and if you have it as a ‘White knock-out’ it has better impact. Also ‘placement’ is everything with these guys, if your trade name is at the top alphabetically your OK. If not you need a few ‘dots’ in front of your company name in order to get ‘up front’. You will notice however that the ‘cowboys’ usually have at least a 1/2 page ad and a business name listing that starts something like “…….0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.Electrics” in order for them to come up front.
    This year I added three dots in front of my company name (i.e …Enterprise etc) and I ended right up front of the cowboys with my 3/8 column white knock-out. 😉

    What a brilliant opportunity for your customer to have a Neff Induction Hob fitted nicely in its place at £825 a brilliant investment. Non of your Halogen rubbish, used in professional kitchens for years, now available ‘cheaply’ as a neat domestic unit into the 21st century 8)

    One more thought Chris,

    These machine are prone to air chamber blockages and heaters shorting? But I guess you have already checked that possibility 😉

    The only time I have changed a Module is when the motor has blown it up!

    Dunno mate, haven’t a clue. As long as you are sure the motor is OK ❓ and you have continuity thru the Field/Armature/Motor Plug connections etc.

    I always try not to get bogged down with the worst senario when I come across a machine I have never seen before. But look for the ‘logical’ 😉 Like for example, I would think there is possibly a ‘Safety Device’ that ensures the motor does not ‘go’ if the lid is not locked/shut??? Look out for such…that may be your problem 😉

    Module it may be but unless the Motor is suspect I would tend to ignore until I have checked all the other options.

    Chris,

    This seems illogical I know but disconnect the connections to the double valve, then try resetting. A high resistance in one valve coil can cause similar symptoms (= new valve) 😉

    To heck with web site optimisation, unless you have pages and pages of text, search engines will give you a lower ranking however much you try.

    Alex has created a neat and tidy site which is all that is required I reckon.

    Just one more point if I may, if you show your web site address on your ‘other’ advertising (i.e.added to your Yellow Pages advert*) often potential new customers will look it up for further information anyway 😉
