    I always find tapping the front of a single woman can cause more problems so I would advise against no matter how great the temptation. 😉

    Regarding the oven, maybe the PCB is playing up?

    Check heater box not blocked with fluff otherwise if the air flow is clear throughout then replace front NTC.

    You’ll need to replace the motor’s capacitor. If that is beyond your capability then call in a local independent repairer.

    By plugging in an energy monitor to your washing machine you can see exactly how much power it consumes and how much money it is costing you to run. (Readily available from Amazon, Maplins and other good stores)
