It relates to a main circuit board fault. So not cheap which ever way you look at it. 🙁

There’s 2 different timer modules on these depending on the product number date code but what is a “control pot” anyway?

No, time out for anything. Usually no heat, fill probs and such. Time to roll up the sleeves and check it out. 😉

ParticipantRe: Staining
Wow what a fascinating thread! One Aqualtis washer, liquid detergent used (Ariel I think?) 5 – 7 loads a week and only white garments show up this random staining. Though I’m sure given the mix of weekly washing done then the staining must also be on the coloureds and simply not visually detectable.
Oddly, no mention of the bed sheets? Pure white, cotton fabric as a rule, everyone washes them weekly, never a mixed wash either, all sheets and nothing but. Yet in this case the OP has not complained of sheets being damaged in this way.
Just curious that’s all. 😉

ParticipantNeff oven timer problem
The “relay” a surface component of the timer/clock unit. Good luck with that.

ParticipantRe: zanussi zdc77570w
It’s fair to assume that if the controls are dead (no lights, no display) then a diagnostics test procedure is not possible. Power to it and the door interlock means it must be a board fault (main board). 🙁

No, sounds like the circulating pump has seized if it’s heating the water yet not circulating?

It is symptomatic of a break in the wiring harness between the inner and outer door.

Maybe it is not heating the water? Does the door glass get warm during the wash part of the cycle?

ParticipantRe: Bosch dishwasher problem
A simple clean up of the relay pin and the burned area of the solder track. Then a nice blob of solder will fix it good as new.
