    According to their website:

00626167 ‘Temperature Limiter Duo Non Pyrolysis switching temp 200C +-5C, differential gap 10-25C, nominal volt 240v’

So I would think one would be N/C and the other O/C, in that order 😉

The flow meter is just a simple reed switch operation, same as the impeller jug on the previous model.

I do wonder at times how much you really know about what’s going on in the industry Martin.

LOL, I leave that to you Ken. Confident in the knowledge that if I take a wrong turn you’ll be there to put me back on track. 😀

    Re: New machine dilemma !

If I lived in the North East I’d be tempted to buy an Ebac with a 10 yr guarantee, induction motor AND hot and cold fill. It seems many customers are wanting dual fill these days and often it means a potential time saving and hence energy saving option many seek in a machine.

If this idea takes off in popularity many other manufacturers will no doubt follow suit. #bringbackthehotvalve 😉

Heater failure is a rare event and cheap to replace should they fail anyway. Extended warranty? Waste of money. Just put that money aside in a building society account and see how much you’ve saved instead. 😉

Now just supposing, just supposing you went ahead with these sales wouldn’t the credit card company have to take the hit rather than yourselves?

Re: Bosch WKD28540 EU ‘E 05’ Wash & ‘Unload’ Fluff Clean err

I don’t suppose the water supply is an indirect (gravity fed) system using a header tank is it? I suspect it more likely connected direct to the incoming mains, in which case the pressure will only rise when it is ‘off peak’ (ie mid morning, mid afternoon or after 11pm).

Re: Bosch WKD28540 EU ‘E 05’ Wash & ‘Unload’ Fluff Clean err

Mike the reason most likely is that it still doesn’t fill fast enough due to the low flow rate/water pressure. ‘Fluff Clean’ cycle takes in more water than other cycles so it’s timing out I would imagine hence the reoccurring E05 error. 🙁

Chas, I think you need to understand the function of a water softener and how, using ionised crystals, it extracts the harmful calcium and magnesium from the water. A 3 in 1 tablet does NOT contain salt nor does it have any water softening abilities. The manufacturers claim that it is a substitute for or instead of a water softener merely bluff, hogwash and spin.

That reminds me, I must have a word with that guy that runs admin. (Kevin, Keith? Not sure his name). ‘Appliance Master’ is too grand a title IMO, probably ‘old stager’ or ‘appliance veteran’ maybe even ‘accomplished expert’? 😈
