Re: Bosch WKD28540 EU ‘E 05’ Wash & ‘Unload’ Fluff Clean err

MikeGB wrote:Can you please tell me if these are serviceable or whether I just need to get a replacement?

Well the replacement (part number 00679532) is costly at around £95. 😯

    Serviceable it isn’t sadly.

The only reason I suspect the aquastop at fault is, that from your statement, it sounds like your machines logic is ‘timing out’ on the filling. Its ‘logic’ allows for a minute or two to fill and if it goes beyond that the error code E:05 shows. So may I ask if the water supply is mains fed or gravity fed, low or high pressure?

Aquastop fill hose problems by the description you gave.

There’s nothing worse than going through the trial and tribulations of training some guy up over months and years only to find he/she steals your customers and starts up in direct competition. Independent employers beware.

You need to fit 00655651 Module. That is the pre-programmed version. 🙂

Tip: Next time save time by going onto the Neff website and put in the ENr number to see for yourself. 😉

The doorbell rang this morning at 6:05. (Two guys coming to replace a faulty glass splash back in my kitchen as it happens). They phoned yesterday to warn my they’d be calling ‘real early’. They both came from Walthamstow (65 odd miles away) and had to pick up the glass from Brentford on their way here. I asked what time they get up of a morning ….”about 4:30 mate during the week but lie in ’til 5am on Saturdays” :snig:

Re: Bosch heating element opinion please

The engineer was bang on about the frequent use of salt, absolutely vital, no question. Without it and your new heat pump will fail again very quickly indeed. The design of these pumps is fundamentally flawed in my opinion. They fail time and time again, even newly fitted ones. Quintessential rubbish if you ask me.

Sorry but that’s the truth. No other brand seems to have such an inherent weakness with their similar designed heat pumps (as far as I can tell at least)

    🙁

My Stoves oven has telescopic shelving and yes they are very strong. Large Le Crouzet casserole dish not a problem. Rest assured all makes with such shelving are rated way beyond their expected loading capabilities.

The link below shows the part referred to. The replacement cost a tad on the expensive side given its age so lets hope you can DIY fix it somehow? And in case you are wondering the link shows a Bosch part, it IS the correct part though. Don’t believe me? Then go onto Neff’s own website armed with the appliance model number (aka ENr no) and find the exploded illustration.

I’ve just read your post and I suspect the main control unit (the part attached to the control buttons in the door) has failed. To access you’ll need first to detach the outer decor panel then the outer door panel. Tip: If you can dig out the installation instructions that came with your machine 11yrs ago it illustrates in there the fitting and removal of the door panels.

(Do NOT unscrew the, 2 each side, door hinge fixing screws otherwise you’re in big trouble)

Loose powder detergent, bleach based for whites and non-bleach for colours and synthetics. NEVER use liquidtabs as they are wasteful especially in soft water. Brand wise, Formil (Lidl) or (as recommended by Which?) Almat (Aldi). Both very cheap and very very effective.

On the BBC tv program ‘Shop Well For Less’ Method didn’t fair brilliantly and came out the most expensive.

Typical if these ‘eco’ products TBH, they cost a fortune for tree huggers to feel good about themselves.

I do too but inspect the board closely first as some other component could have caused it. 😉
