    Thanks for the advice, I’ve put a small amount of grease on the outer part of the seal and it has done the job so I’ll see how long it lasted

    Hi Electrue do a non gen pmp9004 as Penguin says remove motor its easier that way I’ve replaced a few of these motors as it does not seem to run fast enough to drain all the water out but washer fine

    So I need to approach Whirlpool then?How much does this cost?as I will have to way up the pros and cons. I only wanted it because I have just had the TDS one and that has paid for its self the first week I used it so was going to try SIOS also are there any more manufa selling these dvd’s

    Had same fault taco magnet loose in motor, machine advanced to end of cycle and didn’t even serge.

    Thanks for that, spoke to vague lady for mfi spares place and she said spares for this model were getting very difficult to get hold of she doesn’t have a price to hand but was sure it was expensive 🙄

    HI,
    CALLED BACK TODAY AND REMOVED BEARING SPIDER I WISH THEY WEAR ALL THAT EASY. IT HAD TAKEN ME LONGER TO REMOVE TO APPLIANCE FROM TO WASH ROOM TO WORK ON IT,THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST APPLIANCE I HAD TO REMOVE FOR A VERY LONG TIME I MAY WELL TAKE MY CAMERA NEXT TIME AND POST A TOPIC FOR WORST SITUATED MACHINE HOPE TO GOD THE DRYER DOESN’T PACK UP COZ THATS ON TOP.

    Thanks for that guys i had already quoted her brandt prices and you can guess what she said,but having read your comments i ve since adviced her there may be an alternative and going back on tuesday 😛

    Ive replaced a few drum spiders and have stripped the heads off the drum bolts and broken torx bits i now quote for replacing to bolts and drill them out with a good drill bit as the heads are quiet soft and its quicker than struggling with them

    IVE JUST BEEN QUOTED £25 FOR THE SEAL,£40 AND £36 FOR THE BEARINGS PLUS VAT & PP
    I’LL GIVE HER A QUOTE AND TAKE IT FROM THERE,MAY STRIP IT DOWN AND TRY AND GET NUMBERS OF THE BEARINGS,
    WOULD YOU SPEND NEARLY £200 ON A 2YR OLD BRANDT?

    Hi,
    I wanted a oven element for a New World cooker phoned stoves up they wanted £52 for it plus extra £12 to get part in 48 hours put part no in electrue they wanted £49.35 including the vat so i orderd it part arrived nx day in a BEKO BOX put part No in seme £9.79 including the vat and its a gen part so i now feel very ripped off and p***** off i’ve a good mine to send it back pay the handling charge order one from seme and i would have made more money on it and proberly saved the customer a bit as well

    MAD MARK!!!!
