Fuse part no 179199.. Still availible at Connect for about £3..

Have changed just fuse when it has just detriated and no sign of blow marks in glass tube and been ok.. If fuse has blown competely then its useually a motor fult..

Re: Indesit w123 washer – smoking

Not sure if your m/c has s/s tub but had one of these with a small crack at the suspension spot weld and caused a slight leak down on motor or motor block (think it was the block)… anyway caused motor to smoke but only leaked on load when m/c was moving about.. Might be worth a quick inspect but you probly checked already

Re: Hotpoint 93730 T/D Timer knob

Hmmm.. Just looking at picture on Connect and drier knob only goes up to 100min and numbering goes anticlock.. Original timer knob is 120min and nubering goes clockwise..

Took bog standered knob 179192 but same problem 120min but numbering anticlock.. opposite to original.

Thouight it might be possible to change the timer over but the timer that fits 179192 knob is about £70 plus don’t know if it will fit anyway so its making it an unviable repair

But thanks for the reply anyway Chris

Re: Bosch WTL6103GB – Condenser Drier – pump problem

Went back to day to check hose and clear pump but looks like cleaning out water catchment sump at the rear the other day, has cured the problem as it’s working ok, pumping water into container (better than for a long time says lady)..

Thanks for the pointers guys and will keep these in mind if and when I get another of these

By the way just out of interest does the pump on this m/c come on intermitant or continueous and if intermitent does any one know a rough time sequence eg. how long will I have to wait for the pump to kick in?

    Thanks

Looks like this is a module, eprom and door lock job then..

If she still wants this doing (tried to get her to call in h/point under 5 yr warrenty – to no avail).. has any one got the partno for the correct eprom + is it easy enough to fit, any special precautions such as static electricity etc?

    Thanks

    Re: servis wd M9003w-a

Sounds like it is overheating for some reason.. but why it dosent do it at the end of a wash prog beats me..

Have you checked the air flow and condeser for any blockages?

Re: H/Point WF540 Auto – Door lock problem

Been back to this today. tried pressure switch which was ok as I thought.. so presume this is module.. unless anyone knows different? This wouldent be the user interface board would it?.. although the on off button seems to work ok as do all the other function buttons and even if it was the on/off button it should still disconnect interlock at end of prog even if m/c switched on?

Lady wants new module so can I just order one up and fit or does it need configuring? If so how do I configure board?

Always ordered up through EMW before and boards come pre-cofigured…

    Thanks

Re: H/Point WF540 Auto – Door lock problem

Thanks Suedehead but the door will open with the supply off.. you can hear the lock click and then the door opens.. but as soon as supply is switched on at the plug the door clicks and locks up whether or not the on/off is opperated on the m/c..

    Re: Hotpoint DWF50 D/Wash – Heater

    Thanks for advice guys..

Was concerned about board as 3 x 13amp fuses replaced but board did look ok and not signs of anything blown.. did explain it was a posibility but thought bit difficult to test as m/c would only fill so far before pumping out so could not test for supply at heater to prove board ok..

    Unless anyone else knows different??

Thanks for advice about fitting… have you a part no for the w/pool clips?

    Thanks
