    Hi Folks

That tip you gave me worked although I had to keep my finger on the spin button a little longer than 5 sec. Will keep that little tip in my fault guide book.

    Many thanks Micky.

Sorry for late reply only been away for a few days.

A loose tacho magnet will cause the timer to abort and skip to the end – worth a check?

Although you may have tried this already

Thats the one – thanks Clive – looks like it is a special order job from either Connect or Masterpart 🙁 Qualtex not even listing the part.

    Many thanks

    Thanks for the reply Martin

Suspect module as power in nothing out – not even lights but I just know these days nothing as straight forward as it seems and just wondered if I had missed anything.

Would have expected if module/selector ok I would have got a light or lights up somewhere even if door lock or something else faulty – but there again who knows in this day and age of improving technoligy :rolls:

    Thanks again

    Re: Siemens WXLM148AGB/19 auto – no start/lights

    Hi Martin

Did a quick check on door lock heater to make sure it wasn’t o/circuit but grasping at straws really as would have expected some lights up somewhere but there are no lights showing.

Did explain previous probs were intermitant selecter opperation – sometimes it would select, lights came on and worked ok through wash – other times would not come on/ no lights showing, and then once they had fiddled with the selector a bit and got the lights to come up it worked fine. Just sounds like a dodgy selector to me altho it feels ok??

Thought someone might have had a similar prob with a Bosh or Siemans as they the same more or less and suspect they use the same boards.

    Thanks for the reply

Thought i might just throw this to the top of the list in a vain hope someone might just have one – its the rubber mount with a thread either end and a bit egg timer shape.

    Thanks

Not sure if this is the Crossley type from the model number (not all that familiar with Bosch mod no) but if it is I had one not so long ago where the vent stat which is by the filter had all crudded over inside the chamber and wasn’t sensing the tempreture properly and overheating – worth a check and might save a headache 😉

Re: Hotpoint TC71P Cond T/Dry – reversing timer?

Sorry guys meant to finish this off.

Was definatly the rev. timer – over heated wiring must have melted or disloged the timer gearing as the time motor was running but not opperating either the motor or heater contacts.

Found the TC71 wiring diagram was a supliment to the TC11 manual and must have fell out as i found it after your comments Jim.

Managed to get the timer out after removing capacitor to make life easier and used a small rachet with a posidive bit to realase screws – far screw was in a slotted hole so didn’t have to uscrew all the way out but found the nearside screw a pain to get started so had to thread hole with screw first before trying to refit which helped.

Thanks for all the help Jim

Re: Indesit IS70CS Con T/Dry – pump on all the time

Sorry guys meant to post a completion on this –

Checked with wiring digram 😀 and found motor TOC must have blown along with welding the float switch when the capacitor blew. Bit that confused me was the fact the pump was on all the time which i never realized it does anyway. Probley because I never heard it running in opperation before because the main drive motor would drown it out. For some wierd notion I only expected it to come on when the float switch opperated but on reflection that is a stupid thought 😳 Put it down to my age or the time of the month :rolls:

Re: Hotpoint TC71P Cond T/Dry – reversing timer?

Many thanks for the email Jim re the Indesit m/c

Hmmm.. I am sure the TC11 wiring diagram showed 4 motor conections going to the rev timer and I only found 3 + wiring colours were different as well – think I will have to re-check.

Any tips for changing the reversing timer on these anyone?

    Thanks

    Re: W/Pool AWG5122/S Poor spin

Thanks scientist – should have thought to get it but forgot in the heat of the moment 😳 – sorry.

According to Connect the 12nc should be either 85372291510 or 853722915011 but W/pool web site will only recognise the later one. If you are thinking about downloading the IFU it’s as Martin says – for a wine seller fridge!!!!. :rolls:

Looks like this might be a scrap it or get on with it job if its nothing simple – Landlord not happy as m/c only 18mths old – but did get it from a local seconds supplier 😮 – personal oppinion is that it was faulty when new – returned and not checked properly – sold and previous tenant didn’t complain but thats just an oppionion. 🙂

    Any other comments welcome

    Thanks

    Mick
