    Thanks Jim,

Yes the plugs are white, but one has a streak of red “paint”, the other black, as I said the keyways are different. Obviously for a reason. To make this loom fit I would have to start cutting away plastic keys. Wouldnt have thought I would have to do that.

    Thanks for checking,

    Regards Mike

Re Martins earlier post, does the naming of debtors in this way not constitute harassment, illegal under section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act 1970.

    Thanks Greg,

I have already made up my mind to do that, cant be much else really.

I would, just as a matter of interest, still like to know why these hinges are the same, but different, if anyone out there knows.

Many thanks for your prompt response.

    Mike.

Re: Hotpoint Twin Tub Spin spigot/shaft assy

    Oh yes please…..

A s/h shaft would do nicely. I have a set of the special bolts and screw covers, if GB seniors shaft is ok, together with the bearing kit and a bellows seal from CDSL and we are in business. Just let me know price, costs etc.

    Many thanks Indeed,

    Thanks for that Dave.

I wonder why I could not get that info first time round, and more importantly, why could not CDSL.

Whereabouts on the Stour are you?

Re: Hotpoint Twin Tub Spin spigot/shaft assy

    Thanks Goatboy.

As indicated in the previous post, this “spin shaft and bearing housing” is a bit of a wreck, the shaft is badly scored so it ideally needs a complete assembly which comes complete with the shaft under part number 149071. The bellows seal is for the metric, plastic tub model.
The rest of the machine is in really good condition, it would be a shame to scrap it, but the biggest problem here is there are major problems in trying to get an Automatic in.

So if Goatboy senior has got the parts needed I would be grateful indeed.

    Please PM me if so..

    Regards Mike.

Re: Hotpoint Twin Tub Spin spigot/shaft assy

    Hi Folks.

I need one of these for a dear old relative of mine 86years old. To fit an Automatic in this kitchen would be a nightmare, so to redeem the twin tub would be wonderful.

Is there any hope?. Its beyond the bearing kit stage and would also need a Bellows seal 145061.

    Many Thanks in anticipation,

    Regards,

    Mike

    Re: Bosch WFR2460GB/01 W/M

    Hi,

Didnt get a chance to take a second look at this as customer had decided to replace as the machine packed up completely so it would not even work after the half hour. Just as well ,it probably was the module stuffed.
Bit of a shame though, it was a nice looking machine.

    Thanks for all your help,

    Regards,

    Mike.
