yes main module looks ok I know there has been problems with the selector button module but I didn`t think it would throw up this type of fault. could be water damage on top edge of door?

Thanks for that dave it turned out to be module. Now I have a LAM 8601 with the 2 and 3 light flashing and while they are flashing you can`t get it into a test cycle I can not find the code for this also. But if you leave it for a couple of days you might get one wash out of it before the lights flash again, there is no water in the base and pressure switch is fine. anyone know this or have come across this fault . thanks

so the tacho goes open circuit or just gives a reading that is not within the range of the module? If it runs at top speed why should it disable the heater unless the output from the tacho has something to do with the heater relay a puzzle nes`pa !

just done a bosch dishwasher with a blown module found I had to replace the heatpump aswell then I also had to replace the top push button card and display because the display was missing expensive job but cheaper than buying a new intergrated dishwasher.

Ops!! that should read not heating on any program apart from quick wash.

Its funny this carriage charge I have just received two deliveries from connect charged for both parcels even though it was all on the same order and they have split the invoice what is going on !

Roy did you manage to sort this dryer? I have the same problem I have checked all wires to heater and thermistor on front panel and one shot stat. so asumed it was board and its not! or thermistor ( all lights flashing no brakes )

Drain hose was my first thought checked hose and pump all good.So owi ?( optical water indicator) I take it thats what it stands for . this also shows up befor it takes in any water thats why you have to unplug it

cuts out after 3mins on most of the programs (ie the ones I tried) no flashing lights just goes to end and anti tangle or fluff up ! .

thank you murv ! can they be interchanged as I have a customer that has a door problem that another engineer has looked at and I think he has fitted the wrong one.

Did you sort this neil or was it scraped I have the same but A5 relates to a drain fault so I`m thinking pressure switch or flow meter

Get their maintenance man to put dryer outside?
